## What is BriizPay?

BriizPay is the simple, flat-fee payment app built for UK small businesses, sole traders, and freelancers. Take payments instantly without the need for traditional card machines or losing a cut of every single sale.

HOW IT WORKS
When it’s time to pay, your customers simply scan your physical BriizPay QR code, tap your NFC sticker, or click a link you send them. They do not need to download an app. It safely opens their own bank app to approve the payment, and the money settles instantly into your account.

What it costs
No monthly fee and no percentage of the sale. You pay a flat few pence per payment, so a £200 job is still £200 in, minus that flat fee.

Getting started
Download the app, set up your business, and we run a one-off identity check. It usually takes a few minutes. Once you're approved, you can start taking payments.

Know the moment you get paid.

Show a customer the QR code and the screen now tells you where they are: waiting, paying, or paid. You can leave it open on the counter and carry on, and it buzzes the moment the money lands.

When a payment arrives the screen turns straight into a receipt. If your customer entered their email at their bank, their receipt is on its way already. If they did not, you can send one in a tap, or send it to a different address.

You can now show a QR code for a payment link. Open any link that is still waiting to be paid and hold the code up, instead of starting a new payment from scratch.

Also in this release:

A link that has run out of time now says so and offers to make you a new one, instead of looking active with nothing on it.

Losing signal no longer signs you out.

Messages during business setup say what to fix in plain words, and stop showing once you have corrected the field.

If an identity check needs something more from you, the app now says what, rather than showing a code from the checking service.

If we come back to you with questions about your business details, you can now answer and resubmit from the app.
