### 3/5 — Great App, BUT…

*2026-06-09, version 2.38*

I use this app daily, and find it very helpful for my ADHD. However, I’m not sure if it’s always done this, or if it needs a bug fix. It gives you audible alarms when you’re half way through a task and nearing/at the end of the task. But recently I’ve noticed it doesn’t make an audible noise reminder when you’ve clicked out of the app and are doing something else on your phone. Developers please can this be changed? As perimenopause is also hitting me and I’m forgetting more and getting more easily distracted from my beloved routines, I am losing track of time without that audible reminder whilst I’m into something else away from the app. Or perhaps it’s a phone setting I need to change? Please help me!

### 4/5 — ALMOST perfect, glitch found with suggestions made. Actually SO helpful for ADHD, shockingly!!

*2026-03-02, version 2.38*

I love this app, it helps a ton for routines as someone who has ADHD. It’s the ONLY tool that I have consistently used and gives me a visual idea of how long it’ll take me to get ready. I learned this from Jessica @HowToADHD, and it’s fantastic ❤️ I pay for it yearly and it’s worth every penny.

NOTICED GLITCH:

Another person mentioned it, but if you try to swipe to switch order of your items in the current routine.. they get stuck on top of each other or the next one disappears altogether until you swipe the current one away.

I have a few suggestions, though. I emailed the developer, but they didn’t get back:

1. Give different tone options for the reminders. The standard one triggers rage in me and I have to mute it, which defeats the purpose of it.

2. Give us the ability to edit the end time while routine is already started.

3. Give the ability to remove steps of the routine after already started without switching the order around to put the one you want to remove at the front.

4. Create more intrusive notifications on the reminders of the routine scheduled to start. Maybe create a way for it to add an alarm on your phone.

5. Have the app retain history of how long you have taken on a task in the past and suggest a new timing to make more efficient. Have the suggestion be a range of timing, suggest an average or longest time!

### 4/5 — Agile and helpful

*2026-01-27, version 2.38*

I’ve been using this app for a couple years and I like that I can set up different routines and move things around as needed. The problem right now (I don’t see how to report it), is when I swipe a task to the right in order to postpone it, the icon gets stuck on top of the next task icon, making it hard to keep track.

### 4/5 — APPLE WATCH FUNCTIONALITY PLEASE

*2025-09-27, version 2.28*

Great app but this is all it would need to be perfect

### 3/5 — Help?

*2025-09-03, version 2.28*

So I recently reinstalled the Brilli app onto my phone, as I found it very helpful in the past, but because of this, the app just shows me a screen to resubscribe to a plan, and doesn’t let me do anything else in the app, or close out that screen. I’m sure there’s a limited free version, but I can’t access it at all. The support email I sent bounced back, so I’m pretty bummed because I really liked this app.

### 4/5 — What I’ve been looking for!

*2025-03-20, version 2.26*

This is what I’ve been looking for for years! I am an adult with ADHD and no amount of lists or schedules helps me because my short term working memory is so bad I forget that I have a schedule!

The only thing that frustrates me on this app is sometimes it stops making sounds - probably something to do with my phone going into focus mode? But then I’m right back where I was - forgetting that I have a schedule.

Would also be AMAZING if it was available on Apple Watch!

### 4/5 — A usable app for ADHDers like me

*2024-09-07, version 2.17*

I loved this app, shame I am not able to pay the subscription. I can’t afford it, that’s why the four stars.

### 2/5 — Subscription model

*2024-08-29, version 2.17*

One flaw that’s hard to ignore. The subscription model is unreasonable or outdated. It’s been the same app more or less for a long time and if nothing else I’d rather have a reasonable one time purchase option rather than an overpriced sub. It makes a good app and flips the whole vibe. One time purchase option at least I understand bills need paying.

### 4/5 — Solid 3 1/2 lots of potential

*2024-06-06*

This app is loaded with good potential. It’s a great idea and truly does work to get my scatty brain to do the things. I like the premade routines and that you can modify them to fit what you need.

Now the things that I truly hope they improve. It’s a $50/ year app but it feels a little bit like they’re still beta testing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve finished the last thing on the routine list and marked it done but then closed the app and went on with my day and didn’t wait around for the final screen to come around. The next time I open the app it’s still there, saying I didn’t finish it. When I re-finish it, it puts on the calendar that I finished my go to bed routine at 6:30 am the following day. Also, you’re supposed to be able to rearrange your tasks in your routine while you’re in the routine but this has never worked for me despite multiple tries. Finally, if you take longer to finish your routine than normal, when you finish it, your end time is right on the calendar but your start time is not.

Honestly, it seems like a ton of money for what it does. Like way too much. But it’s the only app I know of that does what it does so I guess you have to pay what they ask. Maybe I should have done more research.

### 4/5 — I’d change one thing

*2024-03-12, version 2.02*

I’m loving this app so far. I’ve tried many routine apps, but I really enjoy the UI of Brili Routines. Easy to use. Easy to build your own routines and adjust pre-existing Brili routines to your needs. The one thing I’d change is that if you postpone a task in your routine that the time you’ve spent on it doesn’t get reset to zero. I could see how some users might want it to be reset, so in that case maybe there could be a choice in the settings for each user to decide for themselves.

### 4/5 — Almost everything

*2024-02-06, version 1.84*

This app is almost everything I need. I’m surprised that there are no other apps like this except Fabulous which is just WAY too busy! All I want is routines!

I lose track of time much less with this app. But I still do lose track, especially because the start and est end times are very small. I also wish there was a current time clock easily visible during a routine.

Also, the green color is not very appealing . If I could just change the color, that would go a long way for my experience.

And widgets would be huge, but I know that’s a big ask.

Because I still lose track of time even with the help of brili, I have been considering just using a habit app widget and multi timer widget on a Home Screen

### 4/5 — Good but needs watch app

*2024-01-04, version 1.84*

It really needs a watch app, i often misplace my phone mid task and then miss the notifications. This is the only thing preventing from signing up.

Also, please have a long press or swipe to edit option on the start routines page too. This would make it much easier to manage a daily schedule.

The option to custom sort the routines on the ‘manage routines’ page would be super useful and easy to implement too please.

### 3/5 — Won't adjust time

*2023-12-18, version 1.84*

The app won't adjust time for tasks if one took a little longer like the kids app. It changes the end time. If I forget to swipe and keep going, it won't let me swipe two. I just have to delete. How do I fix this or I may ask for my money back.

### 1/5 — I heard this app works well with people with ADHD, I disagree strongly

*2023-12-04, version 1.84*

I have tried many apps and the accessibility of this app is really poor.
1. You do not make an account therefore you cannot use it on multiple devices or even share it to other devices. I installed it on my Ipad and set everything up (which took hours) and I realized that my phone will not be able to even see it.
2. When I was told I could share routines and that would fix my issue I tried it. Nothing happened.
3. There is no Widget so you can visavlly see what your routine is or any reminder.
4. You have to be the one to go into the app and it only does the things on there.
5. The icons are irritating to find and many are put under random words.
6. The icons cannot have their color changed.
Overall if you have ADHD and need to be prompted and reminded to do something. This app will work as poorly for you as it was to me. A lot of work needs to go into this before it should be labeled as ADHD friendly.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — NEEDS A BUG FIX!!!

*2026-02-23, version 2.38*

This app is expensive and I’d expect the developers to be much more on top of it than they are, or perhaps it’s a dying app and I need to find an alternative? If you try and contact them with an issue they never reply or fix the issue so I’m trying this way. One of my routines the last task on it keeps freezing, you can’t swipe it to complete it and pausing / unpausing doesn’t reset it. The only way to complete the task and finish the routine is to quit the app and return but that’s useless because it messes up all your timing. It’s very frustrating, PLEASE FIX IT ASAP.

### 1/5 — Was good, now is a brick

*2025-12-23, version 2.38*

Frustrating with withdrawn features. The app has to be onscreen for the notifications and sounds to come through. This was not the case for over a year that the app helped me to stay on track. Now I spend most of my time trying to figure out a solution. I’ve reached out to Brili with no response. Thanks for the early Christmas coals, Brili!😞

### 1/5 — RECENTLY FAILED

*2025-12-12, version 2.38*

Used to be excellent provide you didn’t have too many routines. Used for exercise routines you’re tapped on the routine. It showed an individual circle on top of a whole lot of other circles that said the routine and had a time going around the circumference. When you finish that component you dragged it to the left of the next one came up well now it fails

It won’t strike to the left so you can’t see the new task that was part of theft. routine nor can you sign it. It’s only happened recently so I think it’s a new update. I hope they fix it. They haven’t replied when I wrote to them.

### 1/5 — Adding a task

*2025-04-27*

I cannot get the app to enter both a start and end time for grocery shopping. If I tap start time it flips my end time over to that space, and vice versa. It just isn't working

### 1/5 — What’s the point

*2025-03-30, version 2.26*

It doesn’t alert me when a routine should be started so what- it’s relying on my adhd to remember that I’m supposed to start a scheduled routine? Why would I pay for this?

### 1/5 — Beware NO free 10 day trial

*2025-02-12, version 2.26*

I got charged even though it said a free 10 day trial. Then customer service doesn’t respond when wanting a refund.

### 1/5 — Inaccessible price

*2025-01-20*

For what this is, the monthly subscription is ridiculous. It’s almost as much as a Spotify subscription for a timer. Can’t bring myself to pay that.

**Developer response:** We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on our pricing structure. As a small team, we've worked hard to keep our prices stable over the past four years while offering discounts for students and individuals facing financial challenges. ### 1/5 — Love this app?

*2024-09-11*

I have loved this app and used it daily for almost two years now. It is a great help to keep track of my routines. The biggest problem I have encountered is sometimes it starts to lag and then it eventually becomes so slow it is impossible to use. During these times I have had to delete and reload the app and that usually fixes it. A couple times, however, all my routines are gone or they have reverted back to old routines from 6-9 months ago and the only way to resolve it (after panicking) is to go through the Brili support team. They are usually on the ball and great to work with and I get my routines back in a day or two but this last time I sent a request six days ago and haven’t heard anything, not even an auto-response saying they are looking into it. I am worried that they are no longer supporting their app. I’m sad if this is the case because I have spent hours and hours getting my routines established just to have them lost!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your support! We're happy to hear the app has been beneficial for you. We apologize for the delay in our response and understand your frustration about losing your routines. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re committed to assisting you in recovering your routines. Please feel free to reach back out to our support team for help!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync with extra devices

*2024-09-04, version 2.17*

If you’re going to charge $50 per year for your app, you ought to provide the ability to set a routine on one device (like an iPad or MacBook) and execute the routine on another device (like an iPhone). Instead there appears to be no way to use the same user id across multiple devices. Without that capability, this app is overpriced garbage. With that capability, it would actually be worth paying for since it’s a good idea in principle, just deployed terribly.

Having said that, the routine suggestions are top notch. I recommend making note of some of your favorite routines from this app and implementing them in another routine tracking app that is more affordable and has multi-device functionality.

### 1/5 — Unaffordable

*2024-05-13*

I found this app and was curiously excited to use it. I went in and added all the routines I currently have and was excited to add more. Slightly geeked out setting them up because I love adding color coding/icons/etc to anything. I have severe combined ADHD and really loved this at the beginning. I used it for about a week before one day, I went to open the app and I’m suddenly blocked by a paywall. Can’t even access or see any of my routines. I’ve seen the developers responses to this exact complaint and it appears that they feel this is completely justified. I don’t think the app is truly worth the price listed ($8 monthly or $50 yearly) considering the plethora of issues and lack of options noted in the other negative reviews. Feels greedy in my opinion, and reiterates the same sentiment that rings true in so many areas throughout our country (USA) that if you don’t have money to shell out, you don’t deserve to function well. I’ve deleted the app and will continue looking for something more affordable and useful.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My brilli rating

*2026-07-15, version 2.38*

Brilli really helps me with my routines and I love it so much it’s really good

### 5/5 — AuDHD lifesaver

*2026-04-30, version 2.38*

My kids and I are AuDHD. A doctor once remarked that my kids, on the highest dosage of ADHD medication allowed for their size, seemed entirely unmedicated. In other words, we got it bad bad. They’re brilliant kids that have taught themselves coding, piano, physics, etc. but can’t be on time to save their life. I’m the same way. Brili is somehow the only thing that has ever worked perfectly for us. It creates the urgency and momentum we need to get moving and stay moving, and has the novelty and stimulus to keep us all on track. It’s a deceptively simple app, but is incredible for getting kids (or adults) to just do the damn thing already. We’ve been using it since they were 6 and 8 and now they’re 18 and 20 and they still use it to get to class on time. I use it to get out of bed in the morning without scrolling, to leave the house on time, and to get started on a workout routine without procrastinating.

### 5/5 — The timing adjustment is great!

*2026-03-20, version 2.38*

This is similar to another app I have, but the fact that it starts eating into the available time left for later tasks when you take too long on thecurrent one is

(a) a major motivator to stick to my time estimate and (

b) still get me out the door on time when I don’t.

Thank you, Brilli!

### 5/5 — Brili helped me keep my job!

*2026-02-10*

Love this app! I am very time blind and that has affected me in so many ways including being on time to basically everywhere, including work. One day i was told by HR if I don’t arrive on time I am going to be cut and I didn’t want that so I downloaded Brili. I was able to arrive on time and shared it with another coworker who was struggling with the schedule! I didn’t get cut, and when I eventually left that job I left on very good terms. Me helping myself also seemed to help others!

I hope Brili comes to the Apple Watch someday. I’d love to use it on there to really track my time!

### 5/5 — Early For Work

*2025-08-24, version 2.28*

I was suspended twice for coming to work late in the past. This app helped me from getting terminated. Years later, I applied to a new job and found myself coming in late again. My manager told me I’m a high performer and would hate for me to get in trouble just for tardiness. I bought this app again, and again it saved me. I’m clocking in early for work now. Now, instead of rushing into work to clock in on time, I’m rushing to not break my streak of clocking in early.

### 5/5 — Love this app but

*2024-11-01*

Have been using this app a lot but can we have a little more love put into the front end please? It has changed my life but I just it felt a little bit better to use! There are bugs like tasks notifications that keep happening even after the routine was canceled.
I would love an widget for the Apple Watch.
Or the most basic things like the screen rotating when you put the phone in landscape mode.
This app is life changing but just keep wishing it had more updates

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that the app has positively impacted your life. We value your comments regarding user experience and bugs, and we're actively working to enhance the app's smoothness and effectiveness. Please feel free to share any more insights in-app for additional support.

### 5/5 — Doesn’t make you cancel the free trial

*2023-09-06, version 1.76*

I haven’t used the app at all but the fact it doesn’t make you do anything for the free trial and makes you pay only after just proves it has adhd in mind. I hope I can find some success with this and will keep using it if I do.

### 5/5 — FINALLY

*2023-08-12, version 1.75*

A SCHEDULER THAT MAKES SENSE WORTH EVERY PENNY THANKYOU SM

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2023-07-11, version 1.73*

Something useful. Unlike some of these others..

### 5/5 — Great for keeping on track in a routine

*2023-05-03, version 1.61*

Great app. Would be nice to have a photo option for pictures as we use it as a family and the kids don’t always recognise the picture they are a bit obscure.
