Your whole dive, restored. Bring Back Red is AI underwater color correction for the photos, Live Photos and video you bring home from scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving or an action camera. It measures what the water took from each shot and restores natural color without repainting the scene. AI FINDS YOUR DIVES BY ITSELF You do not tag anything or pick anything. Bring Back Red reads your camera roll, recognizes your underwater shots and groups them back into the dives they came from: photos, Live Photos and clips together. Open one and correct the whole dive in a single pass. Shots that are already balanced stay out of the way. Only the exceptions ask for your decision. VIDEO THAT SURVIVES THE EXPORT Supported 8K HDR video keeps its resolution, frame rate, audio and HDR intent. Correction follows the clip as the light changes through it, rather than freezing one look over the whole thing. Every export is reopened and checked before Bring Back Red calls it finished. If a long save is interrupted, you can finish it without processing the video again. IT TAKES WHAT YOUR CAMERA WRITES RAW and ProRAW from a housing, ProRes and Apple Log from an iPhone Pro, Dolby Vision and HDR video, and the everyday JPEG and HEIC. YOU KEEP CONTROL Preview photos and video before you commit. Adjust Intensity when you want to, or leave it alone. Export a corrected copy to Photos or Files, at full quality. Your originals stay exactly as they were, byte for byte. IT RUNS ON YOUR PHONE Correction happens on the device, so it works on the boat with no signal. Your dive is corrected, never repainted. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 0.3.0 — 2026-09-14 Exporting a large clip is up to twice as fast. 5.3K and 8K video now goes through the hardware video encoder instead of falling back to software. On iPad, a clip opens the way a photo does: Adjust sits in a column beside the video instead of covering it. Exporting on an iPad no longer closes the app. Share is the default destination, and it could not open at all. Moving an Adjust slider on a clip you opened after a photo no longer closes the app. Tapping Undo after you open another photo or close a clip no longer closes the app. Large action-camera clips no longer run the app out of memory, whether you are browsing them, running a batch, or exporting one. A video you corrected no longer turns up as a dive of its own. Counts read the way they should: one file says FILE, and a selection of clips is described as clips rather than photos. ### 0.2.0 — 2026-09-05 - Play corrected video with sound directly in the editor.
