## What is BringUp App?

BringUp remembers what you want to say to the people who matter — and helps you bring it up at the right moment.

Some reminders don't need a time. They need a person. BringUp keeps a gentle, private list for each person in your life: the article you meant to send your brother, the question for your manager, the story you keep forgetting to tell your best friend.

CAPTURE IN SECONDS
One tap, a few words, done. Add the person it's for and get back to your day. Attach a photo, a link, or a quick voice memo when words aren't enough.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Everything you save is private to you until you explicitly choose to share a specific item with a specific person. No feeds, no followers, no pressure.

SHARE WHEN YOU'RE READY
Open a shared space with your partner, a friend, or a small group. Items you share appear for both of you — and they get a gentle notification that you added something to bring up, never the contents.

THEY'RE THINKING OF YOU, TOO
See how many people have things waiting to bring up with you. Who they are stays a mystery until you both choose to connect.

BEFORE YOU MEET
Connect your calendar and BringUp quietly surfaces who you're about to see, so the right things come to mind at the right time.

ALSO IN BRINGUP
• Sign in with Apple or a simple email code — no passwords
• Use several email addresses on one account
• Reminders that respect your quiet hours
• Agenda mode for walking through a conversation
• Export or delete your data any time

PRIVACY, FOR REAL
Your address book never leaves your device. If you add someone's email or phone to a person card, only an irreversible code derived from it is used for mutual matching. Notifications never contain what you wrote. Deleting your account deletes your data.

## Key features

- Personalized reminders per contact
- Private note-taking

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.1 — 2026-09-15

BringUp 2.3.1 — little celebrations.

Adding things and marking them discussed now comes with a cast of tiny surprises: confetti, sparks, and cartoon moments featuring Bub and friends. Clear someone's whole list, keep a streak going, or hit a milestone and you'll see something special — never the same thing twice in a row, and never so often that it gets old.

Prefer calm? Celebrations respect Reduce Motion, and there's a switch in Settings to turn them off.

Also in this release: the very first welcome confetti now actually plays (it never did before — sorry, and you're welcome), plus small polish throughout.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-14

BringUp 2.3.0 — smarter follow-through.

• Repeats: set a bring-up to come back weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly after you mark it discussed — perfect for standing catch-ups.
• Prep brief: a new button on each person's page builds a quick "what to bring up" summary you can share as text.
• Quiet nudges (optional, off by default): at most one reminder a week about people you haven't caught up with who have things waiting.
• iPad: the welcome tour now looks right at full width, and sidebar navigation is smoother.
• Plus the notification improvements from 2.2.0: reminders that clean up after themselves, a real time picker, meeting-prep alerts, group invite notifications, and an accurate app icon badge.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-09-10

BringUp is now a true iPad app.

• A real sidebar: your people and groups on the left, whatever you open on the right — like Mail or Notes.
• Everything works in Split View and Stage Manager; squeeze the window and it gracefully becomes the phone layout.
• Sheets float as centered cards, rows highlight what's open, and a pointer hover feels right at home with a trackpad.
• Same app on iPhone — nothing moved.

Plus small fixes and polish throughout.

### 2.0.5 — 2026-09-07

Groups, finished properly.

• Add bring-ups right from a group's page — the same quick bar you already use on a person's card.
• Group notifications now say who and where: "Amir added something to bring up in the Friends from work group."
• Each group is its own daily notification channel — one heads-up per person per group per day, so a busy 1:1 no longer silences your groups.

Plus the usual small fixes and polish.

### 2.0.4 — 2026-09-03

Groups are now first-class:

• Groups appear as their own cards — "Friends from work" sits right beside your people, with its own shared bring-ups, member count, and open count. People are never filed away under group headers anymore.
• Search finds groups by name.
• A person's page now lists every group you share with them.
• Fixed: a brand-new account's first group could be invisible on the home screen.

Small fixes and polish.
