The implementation of folders and timestamped notes enriches the experience, helping users to engage with the content in a manner that is meaningful and immersive. Given its maturity at launch, the future of Brink is incredibly exciting. Thanks for using Brink. ### 4/5 — Almost there. *2026-07-16* I suggest enhancing the user experience to make the interface more seamless, particularly when transitioning between the app and using play/pause buttons. While it doesn’t accurately capture every podcast from a screenshot, it does manage to get a significant portion of them. ### 4/5 — Great App 👏 *2026-06-21* I don’t normally leave reviews, but this app is absolutely worth trying out! I’ve been looking for a decent alternative to Apple Podcasts, this app is nice to use and aesthetically appealing. One feature I’m either too stupid to figure out or is missing, is having a shows ‘seasons’ easily filtered/selected rather than scrolling through all episodes of a show, if the show has seasons can we get a menu to select the season I need to listen to. This means its not easy to transfer my podcasts from my current app Brink. :( **Developer response:** Hello, We are investigating the OPML issue. In the meantime, we have recently added an option to upload screenshots of your podcast library from other apps. This will automatically detect and add those podcasts to Brink. Looks good so far. I understand it is more developed with the idea of use while exercising but would love to see a great CarPlay interface. Most podcast apps have very clunky hard to use CarPlay but hope you can make something for that final star. I like that I can also import my RSS feeds, & have everything in one place. It offers lots of great features. I appreciate the folders, making it easier to find a particular podcast & the ability to create playlists. The only feature that I hope is added in a future update is the ability to customize folders — create my own or at least be able to change what podcasts are contained in each folder. The intuitive care with which even the smallest features are taken care of is incredible. The app prompts me to count my steps and knows when I’m on a walk while listening to my fav podcasts. Not only that, it provides transcripts with timestamps in the timeline itself! I have never come across this before Brink My favourite feature is when it essentially hides spoilers from the live transcript that comes on the screen I would give this 5/5! Still cannot fathom the fact that all this is designed and coded by a single person!
