Customer service is zero help and have never actually helps anyone ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE APP!!!! *2025-12-18* This app is a complete nightmare. From the moment I tried to activate my Brinks prepaid card, everything went downhill fast. Every single step is confusing, broken, or just doesn’t work at all. After fighting through the worst card activation process I’ve ever experienced, I finally get my card activated… only to find out I can’t even log in to register. Yes, activated card, but totally locked out of the app. What’s the point? Customer service is just as bad as the app—unhelpful, slow, and clearly not trained to fix anything. You get bounced around, put on hold, or told to repeat the same steps that already failed. Zero solutions. Zero accountability. This app feels unfinished, poorly designed, and completely unreliable for something that’s supposed to manage your money. If you value your time, your sanity, or your finances, do yourself a favor and do not download this app. There are far better prepaid options out there that actually work. Avoid at all costs. Someone SERIOUSLY needs to be fired from their job. ### 1/5 — App *2025-11-06* The app won’t even open up. Delete it and redownload it and it just get stuck on the open screen, like it’s trying load! ### 1/5 — What a NIGHTMARE! *2025-09-17* Serve is discontinued so I signed up for Brinks. From day one every single step is glitchy and ridiculous! They act like you’re signing up for CIA level secrets. Hard to activate. Hard to log on. Hard to do ANYTHING. Every time you think you’re all set they send you ANOTHER email with more steps. Forget it! I took a scissor and cut it in half and threw it in the garbage. Good riddance. ### 2/5 — Idk *2025-07-28* Hey so for some reason it’s not allowing me to open the app usually it takes 15 seconds to open but now it’s not opening at all? ### 3/5 — Logging in *2025-06-12* Never had trouble with this now all of a sudden it’s telling me to download the app within the app and won’t let me log in I go online and it opens up with my credentials what is going on ???????????? ### 1/5 — Complete Trash *2025-05-15* Doesn’t open consistently, the debit card you receive isn’t a chipped card so almost impossible to use it anywhere these days, not a standard debit card so some financial apps won’t accept it for funding. No option to transfer funds to a bank and is less secure than a chipped card. “Brinks” yeah right! ### 1/5 — Account *2025-04-19* Couldn’t get my account or even call them just a wasteful app ### 1/5 — Super glitchy and makes it impossible to get a new card *2022-07-18* Opening the app takes 15 seconds for it to load along with each time you click a different part of it. My card got stolen and after cancelling it and trying to order a new one it kept saying that there was an error and to try again later. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app three times with the issue not getting resolved. This is by far the worst designed app ever. Take any other form of payment over this. Terrible and I would give it zero stars if I could. Customer service is unhelpful and the app seems to have been designed by a 9 year old as half of their features lead to blank white screens upon clicking them forcing you to close and reopen the app to go back to your money. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the app. Please emails us at social@netspend.com with some details about your app, device version, and the issue you are having.
