## What is BrioVocab?

BrioVocab helps you build a French vocabulary you can actually use, and keep. Words you learn here come back exactly when you are about to forget them. The review schedule adapts to your own memory, so your time goes to the words that need it instead of the ones you already know.

Six ways to practice every word

Recognising a word on a card is not the same as being able to use it, so BrioVocab drills each word from different angles:
• Choose the right translation
• Build the word from its parts (beaucoup: b | eau | c | oup)
• Type it from memory on a special keyboard where é, è, ê and ç are always at hand
• Get the article and gender right (le, la, un, une)
• Work from the definition instead of the translation
• Listen and understand it by ear

• Cards: short spaced-repetition sessions of 10 words
• Super Coach: focused sessions of 5 words that mix all the exercise types

Every word, in detail

Each entry carries its phonetic transcription, gender and number, part of speech, definition, usage frequency, an illustration, and audio both with and without articles.

Completely free

The App Store version of BrioVocab is completely free. It contains no subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid features or purchase links.
