Works fine on my iPhone, but the problem: it used to stopped work on my iPad, but not anymore. And I need it to work on my iPad. The app launches… with white screen of death. So I can’t log on. I have rebooted, deleted and reinstalled, gone into settings, all of it and still it won’t work. If I can’t get it to work very soon, I’m canceling my subscription. ### 2/5 — Limited options -not a professional end look *2025-05-15, version 1.0.9* Very few choices for hardware- paint option is subpar. Painting in the lines if you want multi faceted colors is a pain, even w edge guard and taping. Copying assets one by one with multiple clicks is tedious, especially things like pole wrap are not easy to keep the exact same size. Not being able to get a good photo of other assets online to work w the app is frustrating because you can’t get rid of background. I really hope it gets better as I would try again for sure. ### 3/5 — Great, but non-workable on iPad *2024-10-19* I love this app on my phone, and was excited to use it on my iPad to have more drawing flexibility. However, when I try to login on my iPad, there is a white screen that comes up, that I cannot click pass. It will not allow me to login. ### 2/5 — Takes forever to load. *2024-07-28, version 1.0.3* In my free trial it worked like a charm. Projects loaded quick, quick to get new ideas. Now that I’ve paid for the subscription it’s taking forever to load. So much so that I just give up & close the app and forget about it. I’m disappointed to say the least. Great app when it works… ### 2/5 — Not worth the price *2024-07-24, version 1.0.3* I tried it before you had to pay to use any features. This app would be useful but considering it’s limits and the amount of time any given person would use it for, it’s just not worth the price. ### 1/5 — Incredibly difficult to use *2024-06-17, version 1.0.3* i spent about 2 hours just trying to see what a dresser would look like blue and it was so difficult to get the right shade, which just looked like a highlighter drew over it. the ai feature does not work during the free trial, so i’m not sure what the point of the trial is. not user friendly at all and pretty disappointing. ### 1/5 — Great concept, terrible app *2024-05-19, version 1.0.2* I was initially excited about the concept of this app, but it needs significant improvement, especially given its price point. Frankly, I'm not sure I'd use it even if it were free because it simply doesn't perform well. The painting feature is frustrating to use; it's hard to get started, and the colors appear transparent despite setting the opacity to maximum. The AI design function is disappointing as well. It keeps generating very similar designs, and the upvoting and downvoting feature doesn't seem to influence the results at all. I also wish there were options to specify the style, colors, and other preferences to guide the AI in generating designs. The app's examples suggest it can produce realistic results, but my experiences have been quite the opposite. The outputs look like poorly done filters rather than polished designs. I’m puzzled by the positive reviews claiming frequent use with clients. After experimenting with different pieces of furniture, I didn't get any results that I would consider useful or presentable to a client. Sketching by hand would yield better results. I was really looking forward to using this app and wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it is far from usable in its current state. ### 1/5 — NOT FREE *2024-05-15, version 1.0.2* the app makes you think it’s free although it isn’t. You have to pay 9.99$ ever month and there are glitches and bugs in the app. ### 1/5 — Use your desktop *2024-03-30, version 1.0.2* Not a fan of apps lately that are vaguely represented as free but when you go through the trouble of downloading it’s a 7 day trial that forces you to cough up a sub. If you get to cancel within those 7 days your stuck paying for some inferior application. I recommend using desktop apps or going directly to the numerous ai websites to do something like this and get ideas. This gives you some convenience because you are doing it by phone. Good luck. ### 2/5 — Don’t be fooled *2024-03-28, version 1.0.2* This has terribly generated ideas that look like deepfakes from 2016 some of the designs are outlandish and just don’t make sense and it will only give you a max of like 6 ideas pressing and then the generate button does nothing. Considering how much the subscription for this was i feel really ripped off. The only plus side is being able to paint and build your own piece but even then your options are terribly limited. The subscription monthly is 3.99 so it’s cheap but I wanted to see if the app was good to begin with but in order to know you have to pay or you cannot use it. I was just looking for a basic app that can help with reimagining furniture but I wasn’t looking for one I had to pay to imagine. Nothing wrong with wanting money for your app you put effort into designing. If I don’t like it, then I have to cancel the subscription. Let me try it for 7 days, then prompt for a subscription to continue. I pick up pieces from the flea market and update them to fit my home and it’s so good for testing ideas. It’s actually pretty good. I designed two nightstands that looked completely different and painted them and added new feet and hardware to make them look like a matching set! You can do so much with this app and it’s fun! ### 5/5 — New Updates to the App are amazing! *2025-07-08, version 1.1.0* I’ve been using bristles as a furniture artist for a few years now and it has really helped not only with mock ups for commissioned pieces and sharing with clients, but also for seeing through my ideas before starting and staging before taking photos. I opted to leave a review because the newest update to the app unlocked so many new and helpful features I couldn’t keep my thoughts to myself. I became a brand ambassador overnight. There is now an undo button which saves so much time. I also do a lot of negative space design and the tape tool where you can either add or remove paint on specific layers really helps take my designs to the next level! The update also has paint suggestions and even a tool to help curate designs using ai if you want. I couldn’t imagine a better app for furniture design! Round of applause Bristles. I sent them an email with a question cause I was clueless how to use the app and she not only emailed me back promptly but she made me my own tutorial to show me on YouTube of how to use it for my specific piece of furniture. I was amazed customer service like this exists! I have plans to soon sit down when I have more free time and learn how to better use this app because it seems like it’s exactly what I needed to help with flipping furniture. I also suggested something to her and it was in the next update! I use it for my furniture refinishing business and it’s the best app to quickly visualise what different finishes and designs will look like on a piece of furniture before you even pick up a paint brush! It’s also great to be able to share with clients so that can see different ideas before deciding on the final design. My phone iOS is up to date. ### 5/5 — Professional Furniture Flipper *2024-01-07, version 1.0.2* I’m a professional furniture flipper that found this app during its beta phase. I was more than happy that there was finally a program that fit my specific needs of redesigning furniture without having to learn various programs like photoshop or working around limitations on other programs— or worse, having to hand draw my designs. Since finding this app, I’m able to plan out every furniture flip before getting started so I can visualize my design as well as show clients different options for redesigning their own furniture. I’m able to easily swap out hardware, change the paint color with accuracy due to their color dropper feature from, and add in various design elements within minutes. One of its most unique features is being able to use AI to offer ideas for furniture flips or room redesigns. This is especially helpful when I’m feeling stuck on a design direction.
