Horrible customer service and you’re always charged more than what is projected. They will have a “system malfunction” and charge you twice in the same month and then charge you an insufficient funds fee when they need to refund the money they took from you. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-08-25, version 26.07* Keep shopping, I was insured with them for a year. They secretly took my quote and raised it from $85 to $120 in the middle of the 6 month contracted term. They treat it as if it’s month to month when it benefits them, but charges you when you try to cancel your policy. If you cancel a policy, there’s underwriting fees and they take a percentage of what’s left to you if there anything owed back to you. I cannot begin to describe how bad this company is and how much I hate them. They tried to charge me overnight the night before, and my card was off. When I went to pay it today (the due date) it says my policy is canceled and there’s no option to make my payment unless I pay a full year in advance. They don’t even have their own agents or an office you can call. Everything is outsourced to AAA. Bristol doesn’t seem to even exist as a company.
