However if you want todo your own colors, you can’t save them. So you have to set it and leave the app. If you go back to any other menu, it will default your lights back to that color. I can’t pair the lights no matter what I try. Deleting app and returning lights. Don’t waste your time or money! ### 2/5 — App Needs Work *2024-09-01, version 1.0.2* The app works, but certain things don’t function like I think they should. A couple of things: - connecting to the lights can be tricky. You MUST switch your phone’s WiFi connection to 2.4 ghz, even if your router offers 2.4ghz and 5ghz, your phone must be connected to only 2.4. - the dimmer doesn’t work until you let go of the slider. Other light apps show the dimmer setting real time as it’s being adjusted. - dimmer only works on certain colors and color combinations. For example, the dimmer bar disappears when I have bi-color orange and purple selected, but shows up again when I have other color combinations selected. Bi color orange and purple goes right back to 100% intensity. - Unable to choose custom bi- and tri-color schema. The app only allows you to select pre-set bi- and tri-color schemes. These aren’t deal breakers, necessarily, but I hope the developers read this because the product is almost there. Just need a few tweaks and it could be 4 or 5 stars. ### 1/5 — don’t turn on *2024-03-23, version 1.0.1* i just bought these and they don’t want to turn on i’ve tried resetting the app and it’s connected with my wifi but it doesn’t turn on. ### 2/5 — App needs work. I created each holiday and it always reverts to the first holiday I created. Even went in and deleted everything. Now trying to reload app and try it that way. Don’t waste your money ### 2/5 — High hopes *2024-02-17, version 1.0.1* We purchased 6 sets for our front trees for year round accent lighting and holiday lighting. We had trouble getting 1 to connect but after many times trying my husband got it connected. They all worked fine for 3 weeks until our wifi went out one evening and a strand reprogrammed to a random setting. We thought 1 out of 6 ok we will just take that one down. Now another is unresponsive and changed to a different setting. Can’t get brizlabs life to find the 66’ string lights ans the brizlabs basic app looks nothing like the app shown. WiFi password, location, identity, access to other devices on your network? Feels like a trojan horse and a recipe for disaster. I just want to select the color of the lights on my tree, not have every connected device in my house get hacked. I'll pass. You can just push the little button on the plug until you cycle to a color combination or pattern of your liking.
