Few locals in San Francisco. But the worst is I messaged someone hello and then I was banned from the app. I emailed and got no response from the administrators. Can’t get rid of the unread notification on messages, so it just piles up saying you have X unread messages. I’d also give a higher review if the mods weren’t discriminatory towards certain body types. You can have a headless body picture and nudity if you’re a jock or young twink. You cannot have one if you’re average or bigger. The grid is filled with tons of headless torsos. You can have a headless body picture if you’re ripped and a jock. You cannot have one if you’re average or bigger. Despite the grid being filled with tons of just torsos, checkout who they are. Try to upload your pic like them and have it rejected. And given that they also have underwear in their pictures it couldn’t be because I wear incontinence products (diapers) as my underwear in one of my pictures (not main picture), right? ### 1/5 — Signup ridiculous , long winded and creepy *2024-01-27, version 3.7.32* By the time you’ve signed up and answered their stupid questions, you’ve gone off the idea. I gave up when it asked my “skin colour” what a weird question. I have deleted and re-installed it, the thing just doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Full of Fakes *2025-02-07* This is my first review of an app ever. I have used this app off and on again for 6+ years. I keep going back because I think “maybe it changed or got better”, it never has. This app has more catfish than a pond. 9/10 people on here are fake. The other 1 might be real, but will waste your time in other and arguably worse ways. A simple solution would be implementing user verification or something; like a “Live Photo” thing or “do this pose.” I have yet to see something like that. Ultimately majority of the people and bots on here are out to wast your time or worse. Will I keep using this place? Probably, until I find someone on here or more likely somewhere else. Would I recommend this app to anyone? Absolutely not in its current or past states. On a more personal note, this app has singlehandedly led to the worst people and “people” in my life. All messages have been deleted… Review: 9/11/24 Canceled my membership. Done paying Scott Kutler’s salary. Bro used to be $3.99 a month. Now it’s $9.99 a month for seemingly no reason. Grindr, Scruff, and even Daddyhunt all have actual users (not bots) and a team that actually responds to help requests and inquiries. $9.99 a month for an app that hasn’t been updated in over a year. $9.99 a month. Not a single bug fix in over a year. And there are a LOT of bugs to fix. $9.99 a month for bots and spam accounts to operate unchecked. $9.99 a month for an app that hasn’t had any updates to it’s features since I downloaded it in 2017. $9.99 a month for… what? What exactly are we paying for? An increase of $6.00 for Scott Kutler’s wallet. Y’all don’t love y’all selves. ### 1/5 — APP TO BUGGY, NEEDS A NEW UPDATE! *2024-08-20, version 3.7.32* Have been using this app since last year, This Bro app, as a user i have experienced some issues during my time on the app while using it, there is always glitches, saved messages and messages itself disappear on and off while you are in the app, messages dont load properly, Notifications dont come through or you dont get notified despite checking all the settings on both the phone and Bro app, everything all enabled, Very slow app, Needs to have more profiles displayed and more features added like for an example, an option to add more search filters and expand your searches on what country/town area, Show online users option, what type of interests, how tall/height, Miles/Kilometres etc etc Would be great to add a feature where you can video call/make phone calls to the people you are chatting too. Also there should be an option to archive chats and unarchive them, so they do not get in the way of other chats/messages in the main inbox to freeup space, More privacy settings/privacy controls to be added, example to add an option to hide your current online status and hide your actual location, choose who can send you messages, who can video call you or phone you. Should have an option to hide read receipts as well and have incognito mode included, This app does lack certain features and privacy settings, App is quite slow as well, i have really great reception, i have uninstalled and reinstalled app as usual, same thing, Really hope the developers of this Bro app will release a new update and take on my feedback. 😇 ### 1/5 — Fake *2024-07-02, version 3.7.32* This app does nothing to verify that people can’t make a fake account.
