However, the app needs a lot of fixing. It is difficult to navigate and logs me out every time I close the app. A lot of times I have to try several times to access the message boards or a read an article. Posting on the message board is difficult; when I click to type a response, it will let me type a few letters then automatically close the keyboard, which gets very frustrating. Please fix this app. I love BWW. I just can't stand it's app. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 only because I love BWW. ### 2/5 — Bad layout *2014-04-12, version 1.5* I love getting the BWay news but the layout of the app is awful and the radio doesn't work well. It's very frustrating to use. ### 2/5 — Needs Work! *2012-09-26* I want so much to love and support this app.... it provides access to some really amazing stuff, both well-known and obscure.... BUT: I really wish that they could fix the Radio so that it actually displays information on the track you are listening to when you are listening to it. There is a lag that can be as long as one or two songs before the information actually arrives. That makes it a bit useless. A pity and one that I am certain should be easy to repair. Also: if you need to open another app while you are listening to the music, it just stops and disappears. News and message boards only opens now once and awhile. ### 1/5 — Pop ups *2018-04-07* Terrible. You can’t be anywhere on this app without pop ups happening every 20 seconds. Every new page you click on results in at least 2 pop ups happening in a row every few seconds. ### 1/5 — Constant redirects and now frozen *2017-10-20* Very buggy - app constantly redirects to video ads. Often repeatedly while on same page. Sometimes will redirect to a “you have won” something scam ad. Now it’s frozen on a different scam ad that says my phone has been infected. Very annoying all told and not reliable. Use with caution. ### 1/5 — Pretty Useless as an App *2013-03-09* This is not really an app at all. It's a less-than-functional mobile version of the BWW website. Videos that play fine on the website (when accessed via Safari, on iPod Touch 5) do NOT play at all in this app. BWW Radio on both the website and the app is currently frozen on a song from "Barnum". Neither the website, not the app will stream music. There is no point to downloading this so-called "app". Just bookmark the mobile website in Safari. The formats are nearly identical, but unlike the app, most of the videos *will* play via the website. The streaming radio doesn't function from either source. ### 2/5 — Poorly executed *2026-04-13* The concept of this app I absolutely love. I was excited when I saw it. But I’ve had nonstop issues. Just trying to sign up gave me problems. I’m now in and so many things don’t seem to work right or are difficult to use. I wrote a bio and it refuses to post it. I try to put stuff in my wishlist and somehow it’s now saying that I’ve seen that show which i haven’t. It says that I can delete it but when I click delete, nothing happens. So many things on this app just don’t seem to work right. Hopefully it gets fixed. ### 2/5 — APPLE TV app useless *2019-06-11* So. Why does TV app not have same videos as phone and iPad. I can do screen mirroring from iPhone or iPad, but why? Thought I’d watch tony red carpet on tv app. Not a good idea, none of the News videos are available. ### 2/5 — Love Broadway World but... *2017-04-23, version 1.9.4* I love you guys but not your app it needs a complete makeover from front to back top to bottom. When you click on a show title it takes you straight to your website ok if I wanted your website I would have save it to my home screen. You need all the features of your website in app form. BIG BROADWAY FAN but not a fan of this app just yet ### 2/5 — Content: 10. Function: 3. *2015-08-05* Been using this app today to attempt to watch their new series. But the thing won't switch to Landscape orientation, even when viewing YouTube content. Just watched a couple of HAMILTON features and it was so frustrating. Love it. The only thing I wish was different was the radio. I love the radio, I just wish it would display on screen what is playing as you listen, that you can continue to listen when you look at other parts of the app and the very bedt would be having the radio play in the background while doing other things on your phone or iPad. If they figure out a way to let me know what's playing & keep the music streaming while I do other things I will gladly give this app 5 stars but until then 4 is the best I can do. For now anyway... ### 3/5 — Update *2015-05-02* I love the app. Ita great for when I want to know the shows on, off, and off off broadway. But the new update wont let me see anything.
