## What is Broadwick Connect?

Broadwick Connect integrates the Disaster Communications Network to target the delivery of alerts and information to the public during natural disasters and other emergency and incident management situations. Our focus is on achieving this in locations where existing communication networks are known to fail.

Our intelligent software uses precise GPS location to contextualise and target information and warnings to people and communities so that accurate and relevant alerts can be delivered to them in real-time.

Our dedicated emergency alerting dramatically improves the communication efficacy of ‘multimodal’ Mass Notification Systems currently in use.

Added a "Bluetooth is OFF" status message when Bluetooth isn't enabled, to help eliminate guesswork.

Bluetooth Emergency Relay: Your phone can now receive critical voice messages directly from nearby BroadwickConnect VHF digital home receivers using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This ensures you stay informed during disasters — even if internet access is unavailable.

Offline Wi-Fi Hotspot Support: The app now connects with BroadwickConnect long-range Wi-Fi hotspots that transmit important voice alerts directly to your phone, providing reliable communication even when the internet is down.

New 'timed geofences' feature allows emergency messages to be linked to specific locations for designated durations.  
Message storage capacity has been increased from 5 to 10 messages.
