The app is really poorly designed and back end server and data are unstable and unreliable. Often when server is down, sensors flash a blue light that can’t be stopped without cutting power. These are hardwired sensors so cutting power not a simple thing. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear about your experience. This has happened several times in months of owning this stupid system. 2/20/25 Update - App began working for a week and is now back to bricked. App hangs with startup screen. Deleted and reinstalled, problem remains. 4/6/25 Update - App was working for a month. Currently bricked and will not function. Delete and reinstall does not help. There is clearly an issue with their server that they are unable to fix long term. **Developer response:** Feb 25, 2025: We appreciate your continued feedback regarding the Overture APP. Our APP should now be back up and running normally. We are performing a root-cause analysis of the issue to prevent this from happening again. Would never reconnect to sensor. Both the app and the sensor are pure garbage. Stay away. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Please call our Product Support Team at 800-637-1453 so we can try and help resolve this. ### 1/5 — What year is it? *2023-11-28* Spent $1000 on overture hardware only to have the REQUIRED app fail before I could even create a login, which again is required. I fill in my info to create account. “Enter passcode” a popup says. No warning whatsoever but I assume they were meant to email me a passcode - when I enter anything it says “incorrect OTP”. Of course no email ever comes after several tries over several days. I am now on hold with broan. Wait time over 20 min. This hardware should not be on the market with an app like this.
