## What is Brogression?

Proven lifting programs, run for you. Plus a HIIT timer, a Deck of Cards and the gym tools you used to need three more apps for.

Brogression runs your strength program. Pick one, put in your numbers, and it tells you what to lift today. Log each set with a tap. When the cycle ends, your numbers move. The run, ruck or HIIT rounds afterward go in the same session.

PROGRAMS
- 5/3/1, Original 4-day and Beginners: training max at 85 or 90%, FSL, BBB or SSL, and assistance templates
- 5/3/1 Forever: leaders, anchors and the 7th Week, the way Wendler wrote them
- 8/6/3: one main lift a day in 8s, 6s and 3s, on the 5/3/1 training max
- nSuns 5/3/1 LP: two lifts a day, 17 sets, training maxes that climb off your 1+ sets
- GZCLP: three tiers a day; miss, and the reps change before the weight does
- Novice 3×5 (based on Starting Strength) and Classic 5×5 (in the style of StrongLifts 5x5): linear progression, 10% reset after three misses
- Build your own: your days, your lifts, each one auto-progressed or log-only, plus custom exercises and calisthenics or mobility days
- Double progression on Build your own, Novice and Classic lifts: work a rep range, and the weight goes up when every set hits the top
Switch programs, change jumps, deloads, warm-ups and rest times whenever.

TODAY'S SESSION
- AMRAP sets show the reps you need for a PR
- Joker sets for the days it's moving well
- Add, swap or reorder exercises, for today or for good, from a library filtered by muscle
- A rest timer that starts itself, beeps when time's up and keeps the screen awake
- Warm-up and working sets loaded to the bar and plates you own
- Log a session you forgot, dated the day you did it
- No signal in the basement gym? Log anyway. It syncs when you walk out.
- A summary with your PRs, your streak and what each lift does next time
- Find your max: work up to a 1, 3 or 5-rep max and set your training max from it

CARDIO COUNTS
- Tap Conditioning, go, tap Stop. The ruck, run, row, bike or sled work is in the session next to your sets, with distance in miles, km, meters or yards, effort and the weight you carried
- Timer: Tabata, Intervals, EMOM, AMRAP or For time, with beeps. It logs itself.
- Deck of Cards: one exercise per suit, the card's value is your reps

BROGRESS
- A streak built for shift work: weeks, not days, and one off week in eight is forgiven
- Clubs from 600 to 1,500 lb: your heaviest squat, bench and deadlift, added up
- Your whole career on one screen: how long you've been at it, your best lifts, your longest run, and 37 things to earn along the way
- Each lift on its own page: estimated 1RM and training max over time, rep maxes, PRs
- Share a session card for a post or a story, weights hidden if you'd rather
- An optional, private bodyweight and body-fat log

BRING YOUR CREW, OR DON'T
Crews are invite-only, by code. No public profiles, no search.
- A feed of your crew's sessions: top sets, estimated maxes, PRs, clubs, streaks and the cardio after. Tap one to see every set
- Respect: one tap to tell someone you saw the work
- A board per lift: who's gained the most in 90 days, and who's strongest. Hide yourself any time.
- Challenges: set the rules, log attempts, a board keeps the best
Solo works too.

TOOLS
Plate loader, 1RM estimator, RPE chart, Wilks and DOTS, Navy tape body fat, a write-up of every program the app runs, and a glossary for the new guy. Offline too.

YOUR DATA
Every session can show up in the Fitness app next to your Watch workouts. The app never reads your health data. Bring your history in from Lift4Fit or a CSV file. Export to CSV or JSON any time. Delete your account from inside the app.

Free. No ads. No tracking. We don't sell your data.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-28

THE CLUBS
Add up your heaviest squat, bench and deadlift. Cross 600, 800, 1,000, 1,250 or 1,500 lb and you're in, for good. The session that gets you in takes over the screen when you finish, lands on your share card and shows up in your crew's feed. Your Brofile shows your club and how far it is to the next one.

FIND YOUR MAX
Work up to a 1, 3 or 5-rep max with the warm-ups and attempts already laid out. If your program runs on a training max, Brogression offers to set it from what you hit. The tested max goes on that lift's chart. Start it from Tools, or add it to today's session.

WHAT'S NEXT
The summary now tells you what each lift does next time: more weight, the same again, a reset, or next week's sets and your new training max. Every PR names its lift.

EVERY EXERCISE IN ONE PLACE
Menu has an Exercises list: the whole library, with your last set and your best on each. Make your own, rename them, or delete one and it comes off your program too. When you add or swap, the ones you did lately are on top.

YOUR CREW
Tap your crew's name for the roster, the invite and the settings. Share the invite or copy the code in two taps, and switch crews from the top if you're in more than one.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-21

A NEW MENU
The last tab is now Menu. It slides in over whatever screen you're on and gets out of the way when you're done: settings, bodyweight, your coach's plan, your data, and one tap to switch between light, dark or matching your phone.

SUPERSETS IN ONE MOVE
Tap the link on an exercise and pick its partner, or drag one exercise onto the other. It's for today unless you save it to your program, and Undo is right there if you grabbed the wrong one. Add a third for a tri-set.

A CLEANER SESSION
Adding an exercise, conditioning or a Deck of Cards is one row at the bottom of the list, and the interval timer sits with conditioning. Notes open in their own sheet and save as you type, and a set with a note shows a dot. Weights and reps get a number pad of their own, with Next, Done and − / + to nudge the weight.

CHALLENGES
Type a time the way it reads: 2321 is 23:21. Challenge the crew to the farthest row, run or ruck. Give a challenge an end date and everyone sees the days left. Posted it wrong? Edit it. The board fits more of the crew, and logging your attempt is right at the bottom.

Supersets show on your share card too.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-10-20

DOUBLE BROGRESSION
Give a lift a rep range, like 3 × 8–12. You stay at the weight until every set hits 12, then it goes up and you drop back to 8. Each set starts on what you did last time, so you know the number to beat. Works in Build your own, Novice 3×5 and Classic 5×5.

CONDITIONING IN YOUR UNITS
Meters on the rower, yards in the pool or on the sled, miles on the ruck. Pick the unit for each entry and it stays that way in your Logbook and on the crew feed. Rows show your 500 m split, and swims your pace per 100.

YOUR CREW'S WHOLE SESSION
Tap a crewmate's session to see every set they did, not just the top one.

Your share card also shows the sets you climbed through on the way to your top set.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-19

LIGHT MODE
Lifting in the driveway at noon? Brofile > Appearance has a light look, or set it to match your iPhone. Dark is still the default, and nothing else moves: same numbers, same buttons, same spots.

IN CASE YOU MISSED 1.3.0's NOTES
- 5/3/1 Forever: leaders, anchors and the 7th Week, laid out the way Wendler wrote them. Pick a pairing, put in your training maxes, and the app runs the blocks.
- Cardio counts: your ruck, run, row or sled work goes in the session next to your sets. The timer does EMOM, AMRAP and For time along with Tabata and intervals.
- A streak built for shift work: weeks, not days, and one off week in eight is forgiven. Brofile keeps your whole career on one screen, with 37 things to earn.
- Apple Health: every session shows up in the Fitness app next to your Watch workouts. Write only: the app never reads your health data.
- One Logbook for sessions and progress, a Tools tab for the calculators, timer and deck, and one Crew feed with the boards on top.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-18

RUN 5/3/1 FOREVER
Leaders, anchors and the 7th Week, laid out the way Wendler wrote them. Pick a pairing, put in your training maxes, and the app runs the blocks. No spreadsheet, no counting on your fingers.

CAN'T FLEX CARDIO (But it still counts)
Your ruck, run, row or sled work lives with your lifting now. Tap Conditioning, go, tap Stop, and it's in the session next to your sets. The timer covers EMOM, AMRAP and For time along with Tabata and intervals. On 5/3/1, the program tells you which days to go hard.

A STREAK BUILT FOR SHIFT WORK
Weeks, not days. Two sessions keep the week, a third banks one for the week you can't, and one off week in eight is forgiven. Brofile keeps your whole career on one screen: how long you've been at it, your best lifts, your longest run, and 37 things to earn along the way.

YOUR LIFTS IN APPLE HEALTH
Turn it on and every session shows up in the Fitness app next to your Watch workouts. Write only: the app never reads your health data.

ONE TAP CLOSER
Your sessions and your progress charts are now one Logbook. The calculators, timer and deck have their own tab, with a write-up of every program the app runs and a glossary for the new guy. Bodyweight sits in Brofile. Crew is one feed with the boards on top.

ALSO
- The Deck of Cards shows which exercise ate your lunch
