Totally useless and disappointing since I’d rather order on the app instead of wait in the line. 👎🏼 ### 1/5 — Horrible App!!! *2025-01-26* Crashes, does not allow orders to process/get placed. Once you try to place an order it either crashes or you receive an error message to “please try again later.” Constant error pop ups. Worst order app I’ve ever encounter. Do not waist your time or sanity, order from any of the other 1,000 bagel restaurants in the city! ### 1/5 — Crap *2020-10-03, version 2.6.5* Worthless waste of time. It’s been a hassle every time I’ve used their proprietary app which is a bit counterintuitive. Also the UI of their app is terrible compared to Grubhub. You have to choose a pre-setup section like cream cheese or eggs and add from there. I couldn’t find an option for just avocado so I had to go into the store and wait on the long line. This should be set up in a hierarchy where you choose your bagel and then have the add-on options. ### 1/5 — Disaster - do not download *2018-12-27* Faster to just go to the store and order. Everyone me who came into the store while I was waiting received their food before me. Since they’ve updated to their new ordering / app system service has been terrible. Shouldn’t take over an hour to fulfill a dozen mixed bagels and 2 sandwiches. Plus, got the order wrong and only realized after I left the store. It’s powered by ChowNow so they obviously have experience in user interface w/respect to food-ordering apps. It works fine, I’m able to place my order ahead of time, get ready for work, stop at the store on my way and pick up the order from a shelf without having to talk to anybody. What else could you possibly want? ### 5/5 — Convenient, Fast, Essential *2019-10-20* The Brooklyn Bagel in Chelsea is incredibly popular, with a long line most hours of the day. This app works flawlessly, allowing me to skip the line and pickup at my convenience. The estimated pickup time is appreciated, and always pretty accurate. ### 2/5 — Fixes needed *2017-12-17* Ordered for the first time today and ran into a number of issues. The first few two times I put in my CC to order, I got an “invalid total” error (my total was $5 and change). I then added my CC via the account settings and tried submitting the order again and it worked. But then it refreshed to the home screen; no receipt/order confirmation, no notification to my phone or email - nothing. The only reassurance I had was that my CC was charged. I never got a notification once it was ready, either, I just kept checking the pickup location.
