## What is Brother iPrint?

Whether you have a Brother TD, QL, MW, RJ, PT, or PJ printer with WiFi, Bluetooth, Direct WiFi, or MFi, this app is your bridge to print any PDF files or images from any app that supports Print or Share features. It's also a great app to test any Brother printers. It automatically defaults to the most commonly used settings. If you don’t have a Brother printer connected, the app still allows you to view the settings of any supported printers. Setup is super fast! The app remembers all your settings, no matter how many Brother printers you have. The next time you wish to print, it takes only one tap.

### Initial Setup:

1. **Download the app.**
2. **Tap Settings and select a model.**
3. **Tap Printer to find all printers connected to your network (WiFi or Bluetooth).** Some networks may be slower and require you to tap the Printer again. 

Now you are ready to print! The entire initial setup process, from download to print, should take less than 10 seconds. Subsequently, printing is just ONE TAP. You do not need to open the app to print; it will automatically appear when you select Brother iPrint from the pop-up menu.

Unfortunately, the apps Brother delivers with its printers are not really good.

Being able to send PDFs or images with iOS Share directly to the printer is good.

Core functionality within this app is there. But I don’t understand why the sample images crowd the working area when using real data. My own image/PDF is only one third of the screen width; the other two thirds are occupied by the sample images.

Printing to a PT-710BT requires printing twice, as with the first print I get the previously requested output again. The second print then delivers my requested result. This is a waste of printer supplies and unintuitive.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your comment. Brother BT-P710BT is a Ptouch printer. It is a nice mobile label printer. It supports up to 24mm Ptouch tape, or approximately 1" width. This printer is great for text and line art images. It works best when you choose Threshold/Binary as HALFTONE.  Printing graphics on PT-P710 is also challenging as its maximum resolution is 180 x 360. As far as the printing is concerned, please set PRINT FITTING METHOD to Fit to Page or Fit to Paper. P.S. We are not from Brother. We are independent developer who "loves" Brother's product and wanted to create this app that can make our plethora of Brother printers run more efficiently. Please feel free to suggest how we can improve.
