Could never get the App to recognize it, therefore I couldn’t set it up. And now I have my first Brother. Night and day better. Instructions were clear and while I did need an App, it was easy and it just worked. Being able to easily scan to my phone is an indispensable feature I didn’t know I needed. I buy original Brother cartridges (about £100 for each colour). My printer is only a few feet from my router (unobstructed) yet I CONTINUALLY have issues where my devices can't find the printer (even though they are on the name network) or the printer is located but there is some unknown issue so that it can't scan or print. This applies whether printing directly or through the Brother Mobile app and applies to laptops, iPads and iPhones. These are problems I had with turn of the century printers. Don't expect to have the same issues in 2026. You are charging us a fortune for cartridges.
