## What is Brother Sun?

Brother Sun is a prayer and learning app about the spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi — built for daily prayer and for anyone who wants to know his life, his writings, and the wider Franciscan family better.

DAILY PRAYER
• 5 devotions with daily progress tracking: 4 novenas (St. Francis, St. Anthony of Padua, Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, Bl. Jeremiah of Wallachia) and a 3-day triduum to St. Clare
• The prayers and praises of St. Francis, plus prayers to St. Anthony of Padua
• The Franciscan Way of the Cross (14 stations, in an easy accordion view) and the Transitus of St. Francis
• Morning and evening prayers that rotate through the week, plus the Angelus
• Optional daily reminders: morning thought, evening thought, novena day, Angelus, and major feast days

FRANCISCAN LIBRARY
• All the authentic writings of St. Francis — the Testament, the approved and unapproved Rule, the Admonitions, the Rule for Hermitages, the Praises for the Hours, the Office of the Passion, and several letters
• The Franciscan Little Flowers: 50 stories faithfully translated from the Fioretti and the Mirror of Perfection
• Writings of St. Clare, including her Testament, Blessing, and Rule
• A glossary of Franciscan terms

FRANCISCAN CALENDAR
• 117 Franciscan saints and blesseds, with full biographies, plus 12 feast days of the Franciscan family
• Quick search by name, order, or date

KNOW-YOUR-SAINT QUIZ
• 18 categories, 156 questions drawn from the Testament, the Rule, the Admonitions, the Little Flowers, and more

AND MORE
• Dark, sepia, and high-contrast reading modes, plus 4 text sizes
• Daily streak, with a gentle Sunday recap
• Search, copy, share, and PDF export for any text
• Local backup and restore — no account, no cloud
• The option to support the Franciscan Vocational Center

The app is completely free, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no user account — everything works offline, right on your phone.
