Need to save dates of important school events?Not with this app! Need to update account info like phone number? Not with this app! Need to get to virtual counselor or other tools for parents? Not with this app! I could go on and on…. BCPS continues to disappoint. Very difficult to find information ### 2/5 — Logging me out, repeatedly. 🤬 *2021-09-01, version 5.6.14000* Last school year, the app was working great. However, this year it keeps logging me out. When I go to log back in, it tells me my password is incorrect or invalid. So then I request a new password and I get an email with a 5 digit temp password. I log in using temp password and I’m logged in again for a few days then it logs me out again. Then I repeat the whole cycle over again. This is ridiculous. It signs me out and won’t let me sign back in. I’ve had to reset it several times by calling the school. I needed to go in and check something now but unfortunately we’re in the summertime and I can do nothing. So the most I will give it is one star. Hopefully they’ll hire some new IT people and get this working properly. Addendum: you would think that after all these years they would’ve fixed this app. No. It’s just as worthless as ever. It never recognizes the password if it’s signed you out. Then when you try to reset a password it doesn’t let you. This is so typical of government apps and anything done by the government. They hire the cheapest IT people who turn out to be morons. ### 1/5 — Opens your child to Twitter and Facebook *2020-11-25, version 5.6.7000* I restrict social media with our child but this app allows my child to search and view content like watch YouTube videos from their Twitter option on the app. Not to mention go FB and Twitter. Terrible and careless. I understand that they wish to allow access to BCPS Twitter and FB page but your child is one click away from everything else. This cannot be blocked via screen time settings.
