Fair implementation, except that the close button occupies 25% of the screen!
That doesn’t leave much on this already tiny screen.

Skeptical at first but actually works as specified which I appreciate majorly!

Been a life saver when I go to the restroom without my phone but can still pull up ESPN lol

Only giving 4 stars due to when you do search for something, I have a black bar with an “X” that takes up 25% of the Apple Watch screen…that’s a good amount of screen being used for what can just be a floating, see through “X” over the page

Good app but unable to cancel subscription after returning my watch.  There is no way to cancel the subscription from any device other than what it was purchased from.

This app is great but there’s some problems that I feel like take it out of its price value, first is the big x when the search is opened, whenever I search something and the website shows up there’s a big x in the corner that just takes up space and I feel like it’s useless and even if u scroll up it doesn’t go away, second thing is the search engine I don’t really see why I’m limited to duckduckgo because I really hate it and having other search engines would’ve been really helpful

On Apple Watch Series 10 watchOS 11, 1/4 of the screen is taken up by a black bar just for a single (x) button and more is taken up by the URL bar. This only leaves 2/3 of the watch face for web content.

To me, this makes use more difficult. Otherwise the app works.

I wish the black bar at the top of the web browser on the Apple Watch 10 46mm model will be reduced.

Thanks for your feedback! I totally understand – that black bar does take up a lot of space on the Apple Watch screen. Unfortunately, it’s part of a system view provided by watchOS, so I can’t reduce or remove it directly. I’ve already sent feedback to Apple and really hope we’ll get more control in the future.

App funktioniert grundsätzlich gut. Etwas schade/unpraktisch ist der große schwarze Balken am oberen Bildrand, durch den viel Bildfläche verloren geht - insbesondere wenn man sich Bilder anguckt. Schöner wäre wenn das Bild die volle Bildschirmhöhe einnehmen würde - auch wenn man hineinzoomt.

Vielen Dank für das Feedback – freut mich, dass die App grundsätzlich gut funktioniert! Du hast recht: Der schwarze Balken nimmt viel Platz ein, besonders bei Bildern. Leider ist dieser Teil des Interfaces von watchOS vorgegeben und kann aktuell nicht angepasst werden. Ich habe Apple bereits Feedback dazu geschickt und hoffe, dass es in Zukunft mehr Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten gibt.

Ich nutze die App zur Smart Home Steuerung zusammen mit einer responsive web app, die eigentlich sehr gut auf der Apple Watch funktioniert. Leider kam irgendwann ein großes X oben links hinzu sowie die URL Zeile, was auf dem kleinen Display bereits ca. 1/3 Fläche belegt. Ich vermute, dass dies eine von Apple auferlegte Einschränkung ist. Ohne dies wäre die App hervorragend.

Ok in a pinch I guess. I don’t know why they didn’t scale down safari they know how we Apple users are if your gonna sell a watch why a third party app, from the watches App Store at that! I hope it’s safe that’s all I can say but idk why Apple Watches don’t have safari such a let down . Google watches have Chrome , oh well

Googleの検索がまともの出来ないのが非常に残念、画面表示で急上昇ワードが邪魔して検索窓が枠外上に飛ばされる、日本でアプリを出すなら、超有名検索エンジンが使えないでブラウザを使えるとは言えない

Works the same as the inside web browser already in the watch and will not be able to be used for intended purpose. Highly recommend a free version makes no difference for the level of browsing that it can perform.

Hi all. I saw this app came highly recommended and I happily paid for it. Issue is, I can’t seem to connect to any website. I can’t even search anything. Maybe it’s user error, I don’t know. But please advise and maybe send an update. 

I’ll update the rating that this app so surely deserves.

Apple WatchでTwitterのDMを返せれば便利だなと思い購入。 ブックマークに保存し、Twitterにログインしたのですが、ページを閉じるとログイン情報が保存されておらず、パスワードを要求されました。 Apple Watchの仕様なのかと思いましたが、メールアプリからTwitterのURLを開いてログインすると、アプリを終了してもログイン情報が維持されていました。 Cookieさえ使えれば神アプリだと思います。 今後のバージョンアップに期待しています。

追記 WatchOSの制限だそうです。WatchOS12(26?)に期待

**Developer response:** ご丁寧なご感想ありがとうございます！ログイン状態が保持されないのはご不便ですよね。µBrowser は現在、watchOSの制限により Cookie の完全な保持ができません。これはとても残念な制約で、私も改善されることを強く願っています。

Unter iOS 18 mit Watch 3 leider kein Sync der Bookmarks mehr zwischen Companion-App und Watch-App. Reset sync data, Neustart, Neuinstallation alles nichts gebracht. Schade, wird wohl nicht mehr für die Watch 3 getestet.

Edit: Die Lösung für das Problem fand sich letztlich doch: In der Companion-App ein neues Bookmark hinzufügen, das stößt den steckengebliebenen Sync-Prozess neu an. Das Problem scheint eher bei Apple zu liegen; Reset sync data hat bei der Watch 3 noch nie was gebracht, auch nicht bei Adressbuch und Kalender.

**Developer response:** Danke fürs Teilen deiner Erfahrung – und super, dass du eine Lösung gefunden hast! Solche Sync-Probleme können unter watchOS leider hin und wieder auftreten. Der Hinweis mit dem neuen Lesezeichen ist auf jeden Fall hilfreich. Danke nochmal für dein Feedback!

It’s a great app for what you can do on an Apple Watch having a mini browser and being to work on 4G however I just don’t see when you would use it

Had this little gem for awhile and quite handy when you have other devices around or just wanna use it. I’ve tested almost every website I could think of on it and it’s been able to view it. At times links to buy items link don’t go through right away but that’s not even a complaint. I’ve tested quite a few micro browsers on watch and this is by far the best on market.

Some limitations that I noticed:
-Can’t log in sites
- Can’t watch videos 
- Some sites behave weirdly and some animations and imagens may not appear 
-Doesn’t have browser history or saves your progress at all (single tab)

I think out of those only the last can be fixed by the developers, as they said the browser is limited by the Apple watch’s on design

This is turning out to be one of my favourite apps. No need to pick up my phone to check my regular news sites. Also do a quick check of winning lottery numbers. They load perfectly, quickly .You will not regret having this on your watch.

Update:  I updated to iOS 17 and it solved the issue.  I also received a response from the developer indicating the issue has been resolved for pre-iOS 17 watches.  Thanks to the developer for the reply.  I’ve adjusted my rating accordingly.

After download there is no browser to be found on my watch. It’s nowhere in the watch app, either already installed or available to install. And no instructions as to how to use it. Just updated to iOS 17 so maybe that has something to do with it.
