The game is fun but has 2 major flaws end-game. Unfortunately three flaws are bad enough that I’m no longer playing. (1) The game caps out at building-level 30, which means all the resources (gold, metal, wood) that you grinded so hard for are no longer of value. You see a fat village swelling with gold? Well, you’re capped with nothing to spend it on, so pointless. (2) An important part of the end game grind is dueling. It’s a potentially fun chess-like tactics battle. Whereas most other venues are actually battling with an AI (and there sometimes is an Auto option to grind), this one does not have an auto option. The idea is that you are playing live with another player. That’s not the problem. The problem is that you need to win about 1,000 rounds (less if you buy gem-costing tickets or click ads every few hours). The queue take about 10-30s; the actual fight takes about 15-30s. The part that takes a long time is the 8 alternating 60s rounds to place your units. This is made even worse by people who afk (and nearly 99% of them do). This is how it works: they use a tool like iPhone’s “Switch” special access tool to auto-click the screen. They spam it a hundred times and let it go. Most players use only 10-15s of their 60s timer to place units; but an afk’er will use all 60s. This means that if you wait for all 4 of his timers to run out, you will have had waited 4 min to earn 300 medals. Of course, they are running this afk grind for hours on end. I don’t understand why the devs just accept this and simply put an Auto button here. And if they want to truly advertise this as real chess/tactics pvp, then they out to do something like make the queue button show up in random places or put a Forfeit button in the click pattern so that afkers will auto forfeit. I suspect enough Whales use afk that they don’t want to cut the hands that feeds them ($). Yet, they don’t want to market this game as AI pvp, so they are doing a strange song and dance to try to appease both. What they end up with is a half-cooked pizza that has all the right ingredients but doesn’t taste like it should. ### 4/5 — Fun *2022-10-15, version 1.16.0* Haven’t beaten the first section but interesting so far ### 2/5 — Bad upgrade! *2022-08-23* You guys messed it up with the last upgrade. Is practically impossible now to get cards unless you buy them. I loved the game but this sneaky upgrade to try to get ppl to spend money is no good. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for the feedback. There are 2 stages of the event with collections, the main stage and the finishing stage. When the timer of the main stage finishes, a new timer of the finishing stage starts. It goes for 2 days. During the finishing stage, cards don't drop from activities. You can get cards only by watching ads and purchasing packs in the event store. If you need assistance or have ideas about game improvement, feel free to contact us via game settings or via support@starkitstudio.com. ### 3/5 — Great potential for a game *2022-07-24* I’ve put quite a few hours into the game this far and have certainly enjoyed it… however there are a few quality of life things that need improvement. 1) the world eater is incredibly frustrating to play as you grow in level. Once you are high enough you can bring 10 characters at once, sure this is nice for survive ability, but it is so tedious to change the outfits for everyone repeatedly. 2) I understand needing to make money and respect how you have chosen to incorporate ads… however you present 4 offers to me ever time I open to game. This is just plane over kill and frustrating. Offer a pay to win solution sure, but do not cram it down our throats multiple times a day when you open the app. 3) pvp is clearly not giving a percentage of peoples resources. The numbers you are stealing are almost always the same. Basically you are getting a set amount of resources for plundering other players. This takes away the excitement and randomness of pvp. Basically you don’t have a chance to score big on some loot. You always get 4k 8k or 20k (or at least close to those values) 4) the purple cat won’t operate the lvijg room for you… come on now. 5) this should probably be 13+ with the incredible sexual nature/ sexual inuendos. You straight out mention wanting to get laid by the princess numerous times. I think the strat and gameplay is fun, but these issues have caused me to want to walk away. I’m unable to launch it, the game gets stuck on the initial loading screen… hopefully a quick fix will resolve this issue. ### 5/5 — Good game to pass time *2022-06-20, version 1.12.0* Good game to pass time. (Francais à la fin) Edit: Thank you for your answer! There is one thing you could improve though. If you could reduce the time without any reward when changing guilds. This would help players and motivate them to find a guild that suits them. Because there are many "dead" guilds and it's hard to find an active one. And even harder to find one in our area. How is it that I can’t even build enough rooms to fill all available spaces? Seems strange. The castle building and character progression isn’t much different than other game of this type. However, the battle system is very unique and quite engaging. Essentially there are more fighter classes then you’ll be able to use in a battle and the strategy involved means you can’t succeed with just brute force every time. PVE or PVP you’ll need to place your warriors in the right spot and some fights may need more archer classes or less range and more crowd control. Constantly get spam attacked by the same players (who are well above my weight class). Can’t even save up enough resources to make the required room upgrades so I can compete - I make 100k gold/day and I’m raided 110k. When I search the world map for an opponent, it’s a different person every time and they disappear if you win, and I can only get 10 or 20k total from them. Yet the same players can repeatedly attack (and win) and still find me hour after hour, AND steal ALL of my resources? I also love the idea of having and idle run area where characters actually do things. While you go battle stages. It’s interactive. And the story is funny as well not like the typical stories you see in games. It’s a casual rpg game which gives me my daily seratonin. Thank you :3 P.S: I hope you’ll make individual character icons in the future. I really enjoy picking out a nice icon instead of no icon, but just a suggestion.
