The fact that you have to have your phone tethered to your vehicle in 2026 is so 2018. The app forces the screen to stay awake, and if I lock the phone it disconnects. Please add a mode that lets the phone sleep without breaking the connection. It doesn’t even show the correct vehicle and won’t register my 2026 defender hd11 you can’t even get the basics of an app correct. A word of wisdom canam don’t frustrate your customers. App is bad, no second key, nickle and dime me on everything. All pictures unless hardcoded in app should not be part of the requirement to load the app itself. Remove all the heavy workloads in the app so the app is fast and efficient. Sound doesn’t come thru and the app is slow and twitchy. They need to do a lot more work on this to make it function properly. BTW, it appears that once you activate this poor excuse for a navigation program you cannot use CarPlay at all. Only way to get CarPlay back is to deactivate BRP Go. It’s unfortunate that BRP would limit off road users to only their app. If we were able to use CarPlay we could use the maps that we pay for subscriptions without installing another screen. I had a technical problem that came up in April and I have been getting no where and it is now August. Their rude staff say I am on the waiting list for tech support. I never write reviews but this was needed. I still have the issue and was given a tech ticket in April. When I call they say you will be hearing from Tech soon only been 5 months #joke ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2026-07-20, version 5.1.1* 26 canam defender max hd11. $40k for this. Spent a month just trying to get access to the app with slow and worthless customer service. Idk whats worse the so called map overlays or customer service that will both for sure leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. No carplay, no onroad maps, outdated overlays, the phone has to be plugged in and screen left on for this abomination to even work and if you use anything else on your phone it closes the connection to the display, the connection randomly disconnects with multiple usb cables. Do you developers even test this trash and yes i mean that in the most disrespectful way possible. You can even create your own route. The only downfall is you can only use enough point to point for the entire alphabet. It would be nice to have more than that.
