## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-07-26

• Share plans as a short tappable link with a web preview for friends without the app
• Plan warm-up and drop sets in the editor; they save back after workouts and show in history
• Farmer's Walk and other carries are now timed; add weight to planks and holds
• Ranks body map grew to 18 muscles: Abductors, Obliques, Lats, Middle Back
• Workout summary shows per-exercise weight changes vs last time
• Rename plans without losing their history
• History grouped by month, with day of the week on dates
• View plans as a grid or list; log body weight in its own unit
• Fixed wrong set durations, lingering superset tags, a launch hang, and slow taps

### 1.7 — 2026-07-06

• Tabs redesigned — Plans lead, Exercises get their own tab, Settings moves to a gear button
  • New users start with ready-made plans (Full Body, PPL, Abs)
  • Quick Start begins instantly, no naming required
  • iCloud sync is now optional (on by default)
  • Bigger set-completion buttons, inline exercise creation, and gym-reminder improvements

### 1.6 — 2026-07-05

Add quick tags to workouts, individual exercises, body-weight check-ins, and calorie entries — like "PR day," "Morning," or "Cheat meal." Tag as you log instead of typing notes every time, and make your own custom tags that stick around for next time.

Your body-weight, calorie, and workout history now have tag filters up top. Tap a tag to see just those entries.

Prefer to just tick off sets? Simple Tracking now earns rank points too, scored by exercise difficulty and how many sets you complete — so you climb the ranks either way. You can flip Simple Tracking on and off right from the workout screen to see how it feels.

Fixed a case where the plank/rest timer could stay silent when the app was in the background. Alerts now break through Focus and Do Not Disturb.

Many Small Improvement and Polish

### 1.4 — 2026-06-29

Hold exercises now have a real timer. Set a target for planks, wall-sits, and dead hangs — it counts down, beeps when you hit it, then keeps timing your overtime. Set it to 0 for a plain
  stopwatch.

Add your own exercises. Can't find a lift in the library? Create a custom one with its own muscle group and equipment, and it works everywhere a built-in exercise does.

Pick numbers with a dial instead of typing. Weights, body weight, calorie goals, and rest times now use a scroll wheel — faster, and no keyboard.

Your data is always backed up to iCloud. Everything syncs automatically and restores when you reinstall or switch devices. Nothing to set up.

Smarter reminders. Choose which days of the week you get nudged, and get an optional reminder when you arrive at your gym.

Less re-typing. When you add an exercise mid-workout, Bruce fills in the reps and weight from last time.

### 1.3 — 2026-06-27

Wheel pickers everywhere
Set your reps, weight, calories, and goals by spinning a wheel instead of
typing. Faster, and no more fighting the keyboard mid-workout.

  Calorie tracking
Track calories burned (from your workouts plus anything you log) and,
if you want, calories eaten. Set separate daily targets for each — they're
tracked on their own and never cancel each other out. Only care about
burning? Turn off food tracking and it gets out of the way.

  Edit sets on the fly
Add or remove sets for any exercise during a workout. Set a weight on your
first set and it carries down to the rest until you change one.

  Camera that makes sense
Progress photos now open to the back camera by default — better for mirror
shots — with a setting to switch if you'd rather use the front.

  Sharper photo thumbnails
Progress photos no longer look squished in the gallery.

  Progress page from day one
The Progress tab now shows its cards and charts right away with zeroed-out
values, instead of a blank "no data" screen.
