Now, I can’t even see my friends list. While Oyen is a nice concept, it’s very confusing. The new update tries to do too much without being particularly good at one thing. Before, it was focused on steps now it’s everything that is confusing. ### 3/5 — Update 5.0 is confusing *2025-01-20, version 5.0.1* REVIEW UPDATE (20.01.2025) As usual kudos to the developers for continually updating the app. Initial observations: Generally the new user interface is confusing as there doesn’t seem to be continuity on how the menus are arranged compared with previously. Users have to relearn how to navigate the app all over again. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t understand the rationale for Oyen’s Refills, Energy, Stamina & Speed. Bring back the previous metrics of daily/overall steps, distance covered & calories. Instead of a generic Oyen avatar being created for us, couldn’t we upload our own Oyen avatars? I love the tracking of our daily health esp. the food nutrition & hope the apps Team & MOH spend time to develop further that area. Include variety of our Bruneian’s typical food. You may liaise with the restaurant for their menu variety & its nutrition. Notification on clinic appointment que is nice too. Adding new one is good, however, the Oyen concept was a little bit confusing. So far, the Apps shows great improvements.
