### 2/5 — Not connecting

*2026-02-02, version 2.22.2*

Ive used it for years, now having problems connecting. I wish they would stop “updating”.

### 2/5 — Keep me logged in

*2025-07-07, version 2.20.0*

This app has worked better in the past. I have to login every time I use the app now. Very annoying. No need on a password protected phone. Please fix this

### 1/5 — Logs me out the minute the app is off the screen

*2025-07-01, version 2.20.0*

I’ve used this app for years and all of a sudden I have to log in multiple times a day to change the temperature when it used to stay logged in until I actually closed the app.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2025-04-24, version 2.18.0*

I miss the old app. Functionality of this one absolutely blows.

### 1/5 — Need more bug fixes

*2025-03-22, version 2.13.0*

The App doesn’t support Celsius, not everyone uses Fahrenheit. User experience needs to rethink their design

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-02-25, version 2.12.0*

App is not maintained and does not work with latest iOS releases. Worthless. Updated 2-25-25. The newest update doesn’t let you add a new thermostat. Worse than useless since it takes up storage on my iOS device.

### 4/5 — Working on iOS 18.3.1

*2025-02-24, version 2.12.0*

This app has had a rough go. After the old app broke completely with the release of iOS 18 last year, this new app, barebones as it is, at least works now and that’s what matters. If you are still having problems with it working on iOS, try deleting the app and redownloading it, authenticate (if you have problems with that, like I did, start with authenticating using the website firstly just to ensure you have credentials that really do work—it’s not you, it’s them, if you are experiencing authentication issues), and login to the app. At least you know that at least some people can use this app with the latest iOS (on an iPhone 13 Pro).

### 1/5 — App stopped working

*2025-02-18, version 2.12.0*

After iOS 18.3.1, app doesnt work, and doesnt have any thermostat registered. No way to add a thermostat.

### 1/5 — Not working for about two months.

*2025-02-17, version 2.12.0*

Why not put back app that worked if you aren’t going to fix.

### 4/5 — Love the new version

*2025-02-10, version 2.11.0*

The new version, so far, is great. I understand more features are coming which are needed and welcome. One quick bug that needs fixing, the “fan on” status stays on in the app even when the thermostat is actually set to automatic. Thanks for updating this app!

### 1/5 — App does not work on IOS 18.1.1

*2025-02-05, version 2.11.0*

I have been waiting 10 months for the app to be updated and work properly. No such thing exists. Went ahead and made the switch and ditched the Bryant thermostat and app. Purchased Sensi works great on my unit. I also have it installed on three of my commercial units and it works great. I’ve never had a problem.

### 4/5 — Working again

*2025-02-03, version 2.11.0*

App is working again. Still don’t like the layout but at least I can control the thermostat again.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2025-02-03, version 2.11.0*

Doesn’t work AGAIN!

### 2/5 — Housewise

*2025-02-02, version 2.11.0*

Gotta agree with others. App worked flawlessly for years, then blew up when OS upgraded. Revised app worked for a few weeks - now it can’t even find the thermostat. Web version works okay, but is clunky to use as compared to the app (when it actually worked)!

### 1/5 — App stopped working

*2025-02-02, version 2.11.0*

Don’t waste your time it will glitch or won’t work at all.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-02-02, version 2.11.0*

Never works

### 1/5 — Recent iPhone Update

*2025-02-02, version 2.11.0*

App was finally working. The latest iPhone update 1/2025 caused the App to lose functionality. So now this app is useless AGAIN

### 1/5 — App not working

*2025-02-01, version 2.11.0*

App now states “no thermostats found” “adding a thermostat is coming soon.” My thermostat has disappeared from the app, there is no way to re-add. I’ve logged out & logged back in, deleted & reinstalled.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2025-02-01, version 2.11.0*

After the Apple IOS 18 update it stopped working. Then an update was rolled out that worked great for a few weeks. Now it’s offline again and doesn’t show my devices.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App Keeps Changing & Doesn’t Work

*2026-05-19, version 2.22.2*

This is silly. Bryant has updated this app periodically over the years and it’s been hit or miss abt working correctly. Today I tried to use it and new layout, said I had to re-registry thermostat for it to show up in the app. So I did. Says it was updated successfully, but thermostat still doesn’t show up.

### 1/5 — Login

*2026-03-27, version 2.22.2*

Have tried multiple times to login. No email ever received to reset password

### 1/5 — Authentication Issues

*2025-12-21, version 2.22.0*

You introduced authentication issues a few months back and fixed it after a few weeks. The latest update broke authentication again. I feel like every time I use it I need to log in. People use multiple devices to manage a smart home. We don’t want to have to keep authenticating every time we use it!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t save logon

*2025-12-18, version 2.22.0*

Since yesterday’s update the app doesn’t save your log on info. You have to enter your name and password every single time you open app.

### 1/5 — App crashed

*2025-11-11, version 2.21.0*

Update: 11-11-25. The app and thermostat have lost functionality. I used to be able to set the duration for running the fan. That feature is gone now.

Original post from last crash: What’s going on? The app doesn’t work now and the workaround on the website is hokey. Fix the app to be compatible with the latest iOS update it’s December 4, 2024.

### 1/5 — Keeps changing, poor app

*2025-10-15, version 2.21.0*

Can’t modify the profiles for new temperatures anymore. Can’t create new profiles.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Save Log In

*2025-07-18, version 2.20.0*

Ever since the new update, have to log in every time. Waste of my time.

### 1/5 — Bad App

*2025-07-11, version 2.20.0*

App is so bad not able to login or create an account

### 1/5 — Login doesn’t save

*2025-07-03, version 2.20.0*

The app was finally working. After the last update, it doesn’t save my login. I have to type it and the password every time. Please fix this.

### 1/5 — Won’t stay logged in

*2025-07-01, version 2.20.0*

Every time I start this app it requires me to login with username and password.

Please fix this app!

### 5/5 — Bryant

*2024-12-31, version 2.0.1*

Thankful it’s available again. I’m sure this is just temporary…waiting for the update after new year.

### 5/5 — Finally works again!!

*2024-12-24, version 2.0.1*

Thanks so much!!!!

### 5/5 — App now working I. iOS 18

*2024-12-22, version 2.0.1*

I love the app. Glad it is now updated.

### 5/5 — Update works-back online!

*2024-12-21, version 2.0.1*

The app finally works with updates. Thank you!

### 5/5 — I’ve had a really great experience so far

*2020-10-29, version 1.4.0*

I get it - some people hate landscape mode. But I love that the iPhone screen is identical to the one on the wall. It was so easy I taught my SO how to use both. Now when she’s in bed she can bump up the temp 2-3 degrees if she feels like it. Trivial but I wish I could load a screen saver photo from my iPhone so I could change it every couple days to gain attention.

### 5/5 — Best revision, yet!

*2019-10-11, version 1.4.0*

This version of the app works flawlessly, and it’s super-quick to open, too. Thank you for the update!

### 5/5 — Good but has a bug now

*2019-10-02, version 1.3.0*

With the new apple update , it’s not working anymore :(

### 5/5 — Need to update for iOS 13.1

*2019-09-26, version 1.3.0*

Worked great before but now it won’t work with the iOS 13.1 update. It tries to open but crashes.

### 5/5 — I use it, rely on it, love it

*2016-03-21, version 0.5.31*

Been using this app with the Bryant Housewise thermostat for about nine months. Absolutely love it. Yes, there are some elements of the interface that I would design differently, but this is the best wifi-enabled thermostat and software on the market. Gives me detailed monitoring and complete control over heat and AC in the house no matter where I am. I use the web interface more often than the app, since the web interface offers more reports, but the app is great for monitoring and adjusting settings. The thermostat itself, which appears to be a Bryant-specific version of the Ecobee thermostat, is fantastic. Works great, looks great, and is wicked smart. It learns and uses the data to optimize comfort and efficiency. Has exceeded expectations.
