### 3/5 — Not very intuitive

*2026-08-11, version 1.2.38*

The App doesn’t flow well in my opinion. Setting a time schedule takes several windows. Good luck adjusting fan speed. The weather portion of the thermostat display is correct 50% of the time. Shows rain often on a bright sunny day.

### 3/5 — Thermostat goes off line too often

*2026-07-14, version 1.2.36*

Why is your thermostat going off line so often. My WiFi is fine. Nothing else goes off line, but your thermostat. Already happened 2 times this week. Have to reboot it to have it online again. Please fix.

### 4/5 — Data and charts

*2026-06-29, version 1.2.35*

Been using the app for the last 6 months since having the system installed. Coming from the Google Nest system, it’s been a downgrade in UI as well as data. Would love to see more data and charts showing run time and other granular info.

### 2/5 — Works, but unstable and loses contact with therms. Not reliable enough for remote access

*2026-06-27, version 1.2.35*

The old app was far better. This new one gives good control when it connects. But the cloud server they use will drop connections from the thermostats. One can reset, but they continue to lose connection. It is not stable enough to rely on if you require remote access.

### 2/5 — Price Setting

*2026-06-26, version 1.2.35*

The app needs to allow for tiered pricing, otherwise home owners will find this feature useless.

### 1/5 — Can’t authenticate

*2026-06-20, version 1.2.34*

Trying to create an account as I just moved into my new house. Google login didn’t work. Account creation through email won’t let me verify the code. Says invalid code even though I’ve tried two different times and copy/paste + manual input. The code is correct, the system is broken. How am I supposed to control my SmartHome if I can’t even create an account to connect it to the WiFi?

### 1/5 — Horrible app, the worst in the WORLD!

*2026-06-20, version 1.2.34*

Almost every time it never holds the temperature after adjusting it and I don’t even have a schedule temp set. I have to constantly reopen the app and adjust the temp and stare at it until the AC kicks on. The app is just useless and the developers need to do more troubleshooting testing.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-06-14, version 1.2.34*

System shows offline and we are unable to control it from our devices.

### 2/5 — Limited

*2026-06-10, version 1.2.34*

this app works for some basic functionality. But it’s very limited in terms of the data it displays compared to what is actually available from the equipment. What’s more is that Bryant has decided to go the closed ecosystem route and not make this data available to common home automation platforms. Since I purchased the equipment, I should really own the data.

### 4/5 — Server connectivity issues

*2026-06-09, version 1.2.34*

When the app updates the server disconnects. I finally figured out how to fix it. I googled how to cut the power other than the breaker box. There are two tabs at the top of the thermostat panel that will remove the whole thermostat panel and that cuts the power. After I put the panel back on the thermostat restarts, and yay! the server connects and I have remote access again. Just thought this might help others who have trouble after the updates.

### 1/5 — Freezing here with a toddler because app is not working

*2026-05-31, version 1.2.33*

Currently 8 months pregnant and the app decided to randomly stop working on a Sunday leaving just cold air blowing. Did not Anticipate this so don’t have heaters set up in rooms. The wall thermostat doesn’t work either. Can’t contact their office because they operate only on weekdays.

### 3/5 — Latest version has issues

*2026-05-26, version 1.2.33*

The had been good, butt the latest update as of May 2026, it's super slow at pulling up my one home thermostat that it used to pull up without any delay. Please fix whatever was screwed up with the latest update!

### 1/5 — Takes forever to show hvac system

*2026-05-25, version 1.2.33*

Open the app and no devices show for quite a while. Click around and eventually my hvac system shows up. Annoying.

### 4/5 — Works, but can be finicky

*2026-05-22, version 1.2.33*

Overall it gives good control. The cloud server they use will drop connections from the thermostats occasionally. Happily, once you understand the model you have, the app AI is pretty useful.

### 1/5 — Never keeps temp

*2026-05-21, version 1.2.33*

This app is trash. Doesn't matter when I set it to a temperature, it just changes it back. Integration with other tools is also a pain and hardly works either.

### 1/5 — Cannot adjust the temperature!!!

*2026-05-20, version 1.2.33*

You would think that Bryant would have tested something as basic and essential as setting the temperature. The app was working fine for years, but now when I try to set the temperature, as soon as I tap the + or - , I get the pop up asking if I want this change to be permanent or until next schedule. No matter what I choose, it takes me back to the temperature setting screen with the temperature unchanged. I tried completely deleting and reinstalling. I even tried the web app (my.bryant.com) and it has the same bug!

### 1/5 — Expensive HVAC, cheap app

*2026-05-20, version 1.2.33*

I paid a lot of money for my Bryant HVAC system. This app is an afterthought and does not match the software on my wall control. Please make an effort to provide an app that users can appreciate.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-05-19, version 1.2.33*

Not working after update. It will not load anything.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-05-19, version 1.2.33*

1.2.33. Latest “version”. Won’t even load or have to wait 1 minute for any data to appear. What trash. Have tried to delete and reinstall app same thing.

1.2.32. Trash. App still is not in sync with wall controller. You may think this is a joke but u need to do much better. Fix ur bugs.

1.2.29 Yet another joke of a release.
Wall controller shows fan off and gas off. Card shows heating but idle. How in any way possible does this garbage get thru QC. I can explain. There is not a shred of quality control @Bryant. Garbage release. @Bryant get ur act together and put some quality into your work.

1.2.28. Not sure what bugs you are fixing but the crack team @carrier / Bryant has yet to fix the most basic of bugs. What is my system doing?
Wall controller shows 55% gas heat. Card shows idle and status and usage shows no gas heat but fan on

Who is asleep at the wheel. Fix ur trash @carrier / Bryant

1.2.27. Come on. This app does not provide the most basic of functions. What is my system doing? This release still has not fixed wall controller and app not being in sync. Just pathetic that this junk is being put out.

1.2.26 same trash as before. Most basic of functions don’t work. ?what is my system doing? Nope wall controller and app not in sync

If your “listening” fix the most basic. WRONG STATUS

Changes from app not /infrequently reflected on wall controller

“Smart” what a joke. Not worth it. Toss the app and start over with folks that know what they are doing.

Carrier or Bryant app. Same exact issues just different colors.

EMBARRASSMENT.

1.2.25 yet another trash release. wall controller shows fan on with 40% gas heating. (Visually confirmed and correct. ) Status and Usage in app shows fan on but gas off. Card shows heating but idle. How in all that is good is this possible.? Clearly not an ounce of QC. But they did add the ability to not show the weather. Stop with the lipstick on the pig and fix the pig. Just HORRIBLE TRASH. @Carrier you should be ashamed to release this junk

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-08-18, version 1.2.39*

1.2.39 another awful release. Not testing whatsoever. Any changes at the wall controller result in 35 notifications in a 4 hour period. Clearly the QA department is out to lunch.

Latest version is just a continuation of the awful garbage @carrier puts out. How is it possible there is no testing. If everyone complains about the same thing you may want to believe them. App and controller not in sync. Notifications are a joke they say something changed. No duh, what changed? Email notifications are even worse. There is a critical issue so you need to go to app to look for something. What triggered the email? Your “schedule is a joke”. You limit to 4 “comfort profiles”. Now to what u call a UI. What a joke. Copy your competitors. They are far superior to yours. You can’t even get your screen layouts to not overlap. What a joke of an app.

### 1/5 — UI is terrible

*2026-08-06, version 1.2.38*

Previously I would have given a 3 star review. But now I find the app confusing and unnecessarily complex. Needs to be simplified so I can just set my temp for each zone. More options does not mean a better experience

### 1/5 — App is terrible

*2026-07-26, version 1.2.37*

Sad ….. at least the old app kinda worked.

At least the weather is right. The control of the hvac ….. not so much.

### 1/5 — Constantly drops connection

*2026-07-24, version 1.2.37*

What good is a remote thermostat app that is never connected? It’s the most basic part of the app and keeps losing connection.

Get it together Bryant.

### 1/5 — Can’t sign up

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.37*

It won’t let me sign up. Keeps sending code to my email, I type correctly in the box and keeps giving me an error message

### 1/5 — Stupid app

*2026-07-15, version 1.2.36*

This is a poorly designed app that is not user friendly. If you want me to enter Wi-Fi password ask for it. Spent over an hour screwing around trying to get this app set up. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Missing system

*2026-07-10, version 1.2.36*

We replaced another HVAC system and was unable to add the device to the app.

Finally we were able to add the device to our account via the Bryant website. The app shown a tab for our basement device with no controls. Another tab in the app shows the device is ‘online’.

The app has never worked well, however, this is a new level of dysfunction.

### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible, inept and useless. They broke what did work with an update.

*2026-07-06, version 1.2.35*

The app worked nicely in the past, but with one update, they made it so that it disconnects continuously and temperature cannot be controlled remotely. Set up must be done again to repair the problem and then it will reoccur continually. They told me they were releasing an update which would fix this, but unsurprisingly, the problem still exists and is completely infuriating. The basic functions do not work and have not been working, and the problem that virtually every recent reviewer has mentioned has gone unsolved and it appears that Bryant does not take the complaints seriously. Avoid their system and this program if you have any need at all to remotely control your system.

### 1/5 — Intermittently posts a waving hand greeting when opening app

*2026-06-23, version 1.2.35*

Would really like for this greeting to go away…It is irritating to me. Hoping that Bryant Smart Home APP can allow me to delete this function….

### 5/5 — Best

*2025-08-10*

This is the fourth house that I’ve moved to and have either installed as new build or as a replacement unit Bryant HVAC system.
I have never had a problem with any of my units

That may because of the way Bryant builds them or because Davis HVAC out of Somerset KY takes such very good care of my systems for me

But whichever one it is the team between Bryant and Davis HVAC and Somerset KY has always taken care of my needs and have never failed me

Unless somebody wants to install a new system for free, and that will never happen ,I would never spend any money on a system different than Bryant.

**Developer response:** That’s fantastic to hear! We’re so glad the app is working well for you and that you’ve had such a great experience with Bryant. Thanks for being a loyal customer.

### 5/5 — Steady and reliable — exactly what we needed

*2025-06-22*

Our home’s comfort has been relying on this app 24 hours a day for almost two years now, and it’s proven to be dependable and well-built. It does what it’s supposed to without any unnecessary complications or drama. The most recent update brought a noticeable improvement in performance and stability. Nothing flashy here — just solid functionality, which we appreciate. Nice job, Bryant. Keep refining it.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this fantastic review. It's wonderful to hear that the app has been a dependable part of your home for almost two years. We really appreciate you highlighting its solid functionality and reliability. Rest assured, we will keep refining it. Thanks for being a Bryant customer!

### 5/5 — Super System

*2025-06-05, version 1.1.11*

Extremely convenient in house and on the road

### 5/5 — Cant get the app

*2025-05-02, version 1.1.9*

Not able to review dt App is not working for me

### 5/5 — Good!

*2025-04-15, version 1.1.9*

So far so good! Just changed from the old Bryant app for dual heating system which was a fiasco. This works well and I like how it actually lets me adjust the temperature right after I open it with no waiting. Also, great UI!
