Spent two days conversing with service department and they were responsive but were of no help. ### 1/5 — App cannot be used on iPad *2021-05-11* When the app loads on iPad the graphics do not all show in the small window on the iPad. The app graphics seem to map in iPhone resolution only , in portrait mode. They only show in portrait mode on the iPad so you have to rotate the iPad and then you cannot even see all the items that show on the app in the iPhone. Then even on iPhone. Once you add some pictures to the device, I cannot add any new pictures until I close and reopen the app. Other wise it just keeps showing the old pictures without any way to get past that point. ### 1/5 — Absolutely disappointing! *2021-05-11* Doesn’t work on any of my families iPads. Not updated for over 9 months, And website is not available for customer service? The BSIMB App has always been glitchy and unstable but I’ve been able to get it to work eventually. Until today. Trying to upload a photo to the device is impossible. The app goes in nonsensical circles. I deleted the app twice and downloaded the latest version but it no longer works at all. Unable to download photos using this app. Is Apple at all involved in the process of detection and correcting faulty apps on the App Store? Also, I’ve sent this review several times and it doesn’t get published. ### 1/5 — Horrible program *2021-03-15, version 1.0.31* Giving it 0 stars can’t even preview a picture to send. My relatives on Android say it works just fine. I can’t even pull up my photos to even upload. And when it did work which I have no idea how, it is impossible to see what you sent let alone to text label them. I send pic to my sister to send from Android. Did the programmer even try it on iphone? ### 1/5 — Not working after internet upgrade *2021-03-11, version 1.0.31* We upgraded routers and now it will not connect, I’m stuck looking at the “Be Simple Be Better” message everyday. First, I could only upload one or two photos at a time of the claimed 9. Now although it says “send success“ the pictures don’t appear. Thanks, Greg ### 1/5 — BSIMB Software + Installation Hard to Follow *2020-04-18* First, do not try to get this up and running using an iPad. Gave up and switched to iPhone. Next, be careful you have the right frame ID. The correct frame ID is shown on the Settings page not the one in general instructions that initially appear on the screen. Nice frame, nice pictures. Not sure about security and privacy with installed software. Did not upgrade to higher software due to description of access to my contacts info etc. Biggest limit is only 9 photos at time can be loaded; also cannot show photos in random order. Have not tried to install photos by SD card vs. wirelessly. Wish I had tried to limit access just to installing photos by SD card. ### 1/5 — Really really really really bad. *2020-04-18* Bought my mother a wifi frame that got good reviews but didn’t think to check the reviews on the app as well. My mistake there as we’ve been trying to set it up for weeks with no luck binding it to the frame. Even when it said it worked, the frame didn’t show up in the app. Customer service was unable to help so we’re returning the frame and never buying one that uses this app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2024-09-01, version 1.2.2* Aside from the frame bro g flimsy as heck, this is incredibly buggy and glitchy. Your 80 year old grandma should not have to try to install it: you should do it for her! It’s not hard to install as long as you don’t insist on dark mode. I had it up and running in about ten minutes, and I’m old school (over 70 years old). It works just fine. The processor isn’t cutting edge, but it doesn’t have to be for a photo frame. Is it really that big a problem if you can’t upload more than nine photos at a time? The display is large and bright. The weather function is super for a three day local forecast. The sound is even reasonable. Settings are easy to access and customize. Pretty simple. Don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. ### 3/5 — Clunky setup and use *2021-01-02* For the price of this photo frame you should work on the device setup and email delivery. Ugh! This is like configuring Netware from 1995! For guests to your device they should hit the + next to bound devices, not my device. I think that’s because it’s not their actual device. Then they will show up as a user request on the photo frame. I have yet to get the email service to work, which is the thing that should be easiest. Admittedly I have not yet emailed tech-support, but I will do that now. ### 3/5 — Easy but buggy *2020-05-19* Very easy to use. Home page has most of it's selections off screen and you cannot scroll to them on iPad.
