I purchased the pro version and used this solely to study for mine. I am happy to report I passed my exam yesterday! The questions were equivalent to the material needed for preparation, and the daily questions helped keep me focused and dedicated to studying. ### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing *2017-04-30, version 6.3* I purchased the premium/pro version of this app to help study for my LSW exam in Ohio. I was hesitant to rely solely on this app, but I did. The material is true to the test and does an awesome job of explaining the correct answers to the questions. I passed my LSW exam on the first attempt having only used this app to prepare. The pro version is worth every penny and let's you practice tests as many times as you would like, where the ASWB only allows you to take the practice test once. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to prepare for the very expensive, very nerve wracking, very important LSW test. Thank you, PocketPrep! The app explained the right in wrong answers in such detail, I passed with flying colors. I took the test yesterday and I failed by 12 questions. I am positive nerves got in my way as I didn’t feel confident in any of my answers- I am shocked to have known that I did so well. I have to take the exam again and I will not be counting on this app. I have purchased additional study materials. For the same people in the same boat- do not let the exam define who you are as a social worker/ person. You will pass. ### 1/5 — This app is still not working correctly *2018-07-03, version 6.5.4* This app needs more updates because the app keeps refreshing the data its self everyday where it brings me back to the home screen ( sign up or continue with free version).Also l have to keep paying for premium version every month which is not good because the app says it’s one time payment for the premium version. Seriously, do not waste your money on this version. Like there is a question about trauma saying that it's a persons reaction to a crisis, but another questions says the crisis is the reaction to trauma. This app helps me to do that. My only complaints are that lately it is kinda slow and laggy. Also, it keeps asking me the same question of the day.. For the past week. Thank you for creating this to help! ### 4/5 — Best app I've used to study for BSW exam *2017-08-17, version 6.3.2* This is probably the best app (out of 3 others) that I've have used to help me study for the social work bachelors exam. It has relative questions relating to the different study content (human development, assessment, professional practice, etc) and seems the most up to date. I have been out of school and in the field for about 3 years now, so all of the theoretical questions definitely were not going to come as easily as they used to. I had bought the study guide from LEAP and take the practice exam and felt super discouraged. Then a friend who had taken the exam recommended pocket prep and it was the best recommendation I could’ve gotten! The app was so helpful and the questions came right from the ASWBs guide and they would always cite where the questions came from or where to find the answers. You can set it to send you study reminders every day, which as a full time case manager, I definitely needed the accountability. You can set how it’s going to test you - how many questions, answers at the end or after each question, specific topic questions only, only questions you’ve flagged, etc. It is extremely customizable. And clearly useful because I took my exam yesterday and PASSED!
