### 1/5 — App doesn’t update

*2025-11-22*

When you have no internet and are reporting a fault try and use the web, because using this app over writes the web and resets your progress. And then they can keep closing your ticket even though you still have a fault on your line. Because BT has 20 hours to resolve a residential line and 40 hours to resolve a business line, with the web it just keeps updating the initial ticket through this app it closes when you call for an update and they open a new ticket resetting their agreement with you. So do use the app, use the web. Ironically enough when calling you can’t get through unless you use the app, thanks AI

### 1/5 — If I could give a 0 star I would

*2025-10-13*

If I could give a 0 star review I would. Had nothing but issues with BT regarding billing for past year. The poorest customer service known to man. Caused me nothing but headache and stress with my business. Suspended my account multiple times due to their own fault of double billing me. Had to contact ombudsman service to resolve issue more than once. They have people sat in another country reading off a script not even trying to help customers. Would never recommend this service to anybody the amount of sleepless nights and hours wasted on the phone that have also damaged my business will never be compensated. Honestly this company needs seriously investigating.

### 1/5 — Sadly leaving

*2025-04-28*

Only given one star as zero wasn’t possible. Quite possibly the most difficult company I’ve ever had to deal with. The only way to get anything resolved is on the phone - if you can get past the generic automated systems which send you back to the website then drop your call. Help desk promises call backs that never happen and profit comes before customer in all circumstances. I’m paying to terminate my contract early as I’ve wasted too much time trying to get the service I’ve paid for to work with no results. I should have read the writing on the wall when it took them over a month to get my service set up at the start of the contract and cancelled then. Don’t sign up for BT. I know they own the lines but you deserve better customer service.

### 1/5 — Disappointed 🤔

*2025-02-23*

Can’t wait to finish my contract with this company!! Recently had a two part contract with BT ,broadband and ICloud phone services,My broadband contract finished last October so it was terminated as they didn’t run simultaneously contract time wise, which left me with this stupid ICloud service, but nobody advised me at BT ,Least of all our newly appointed business manager (Wayne or Dwayne ) 🤔🤷?? as he introduced himself to us didn’t seem too concerned that we were not going to renew our broadband service that to use the service you needed a broadband connection,So I am stuck with a service that is completely useless !!! Roll on end of contract time can’t come too soon 😡 never use this company again !!!!

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-02-11*

What has happened to BT? I feel like they are dishonest and untrustworthy. Not only is the service terrible when you try to speak with someone, but it remains unsatisfactory even after that. The representatives are often rude, and it seems they lack the knowledge to assist customers effectively.

I was happy with the contract I had, but then they disconnected me without any warning and pressured me into signing up for another deal that was far less favorable. It took a long time to address my complaint, and when they finally acknowledged their mistake, they agreed to pay the majority of my contract. Unfortunately, sorting this out took forever and encountered several issues along the way.

I plan to leave BT at the earliest opportunity and will never return. It’s a shocking way to treat customers.

### 1/5 — Rubbish App, bill and pdf download different.

*2024-12-19*

I’ve had an issue with incorrect billing for 4 months with BT Business. What has come to light is that a bill in the summary does not always correlate with the same bill in pdf download. As I have paperless billing I have to download the pdf to see what is actually being paid. As they have been unable to provide a correct bill for 4 of the last 5 months, I have decided to go back to paperless bills as the app information is unreliable.

Update.
Thank you for your response Stuart, however, I had already been in contact through business app feedback, sent requested information and guess what, no further contact! Hence my review of the app. And just to add I’m no further forward with the billing error.

### 1/5 — Rubish

*2024-11-11*

This will be posted tomorrow with names of people on Trustpilot.

BT is a company packed with unprofessional offshore offices and staff who seem to have no idea what they are doing. As a business customer, I’ve been waiting over a month and a half, only to have BT and Openreach repeatedly change my appointment dates because the engineer missed them and couldn’t make it on time.

My advice to anyone reading this: avoid BT. Their contractors, Openreach, are simply unreliable and unprofessional. They couldn’t manage something as straightforward as my order. Imagine having to wait 1.5 months or even longer just to get your lines fixed.

Their offshore support is full of unprofessional representatives, with poor phone connections, and they have even cut the call on me. One representative put me on hold, and I could hear her eating chips because she forgot to press the mute button, all while supposedly calling Openreach to check on my issue.

Never, ever go with BT. I will soon share the names of everyone I spoke with on the phone.

**Developer response:** Hi, I'm so sorry about this. If you send me an email on busapp@bt.com or DM us on X over at @BTBusinesscare one of our team will be able to help you from there. Thank you - Stuart

### 1/5 — Worst customer service ever

*2024-10-17*

BT is stealing my money for last 3 months..!!

I bought a BT broadband for my business. When I’m registering for BT I have clearly told them by business is located in basement and also already have one existing connection in the same building, they promised me to fix one for me in basement. But Engineer from open reach came and he said we can’t put new one we have to take the existing one out and put new one. But other business owners will not accept that. And also he updated like job has been completed. From that date to till now it’s been 3 months. Every single week I’m contacting to BT through live chat, phone calls to customer service. And every time I’m telling the same story again and then the person who is in the call they fill say they going to transfer to sales team, billing team, fault team, and so..
Every time I was getting variety of answers from their staffs. And the crazy thing is they took my two months bills already through direct debit for the broadband device which is still sleeping without unboxed and unplugged even. I fed up with contacting BT. I’m not going to contact anymore. I gonna face this legally on consumer rights and I’m going to take this issue to court. I strongly will not recommend anyone to buy this scrap. Just waste of money and time.

**Developer response:** Hi There. I'm really sorry, we'd like to help you. If you send me an email on busapp@bt.com or DM us on X over at @BTBusinesscare one of our team will be able to help you from there. Thank you - Stuart

### 1/5 — Disfunctional

*2024-08-30*

I know there is someone proud to be responsible for this app but one can’t help thinking how in earth was this released to the public. Try and fix a fault on your broadband…go on I dare you!! You’ll lose time, the will to live and possibly swear out load. Links don’t work. If they do they send you around in circles always back to the inevitable conclusion you have to phone. In between 9-5 uk time and wait and wait for someone in india (wait aren’t they on a different time zone 🤔). And when they eventually answer you get the script, then passed to the department who CAN help only to be asked the same questions and told we can’t do this without the relevant support from another department and so it goes on meanwhile my charity business (which is classified as a corporate entity) with all volunteers flounder losing money as no one can log on or open the door. There are times when you just want to cry and give up. This is one of them. I caved in and just ordered a new broadband and contract with them hoping it would resolve the problem, yet. You can pay now but we will send you the hub in 2 weeks and switch you over some time in. 4-6 weeks….really???? Surely it’s a switch go and press it you lazy incompetent halfwits. And if it isn’t a switch then change the terminology. The death of small business sorry corporate charity starts right there….

**Developer response:** Hi There, I am really sorry you are facing issues. If you send me an email on busapp@bt.com or DM us on X over at @BTBusinesscare one of our team will be able to help you from there. Thank you - Stuart

### 1/5 — Aweful

*2024-07-19*

BT gave me the hard sell, I felt forced in to buying the cloud voice product.
I was given an install date and the assurance that the migration would be completed in one day.
On the migration day we lost phone service. We did not get back our telephone service for 13 days!!!!
Raised the issue with the team almost daily - useless no information of any value provided “resolution tomorrow” was their stock reply.
Once we had the connection back I requested a refund for the days that we had no service - keep getting messages from BT apologising for the fact they have not resolved this issue.
I found out that I could keep my old telephone equipment if I purchased a conversion plug in for £100. This is all I ever wanted. I did not want the “free” equipment they sent to me - I lost my local answerphone that was on my original handsets. If I want the voice mail facilities on the new system I would have to buy it!!!
The whole migration process has been a nightmare. If I could go with another company I would, but I have signed a contract.

**Developer response:** Hi There, I am really sorry to hear this. If you send me an email on busapp@bt.com or DM us on X over at @BTBusinesscare one of our team will be able to help you from there. Thank you - Stuart
