It’s a useless feature and you cant hear people on the call. There is a repeatable bug that stops the caller list from appearing, the connection screen is endless even though you can hear the call. ### 1/5 — Hate the “line muted/unmuted” *2020-01-30, version 2.78.5* It is blocking people’s voice and it can’t be turned off. It is very annoying. Sometimes, it can’t recognize the correct conf number . After the last update it’s no longer usable. Like others the muting function is disappointing. And the additional problem I have is half the time the signing in screen doesn’t change to the your in the meeting screen. And the mute button on the signing in screen doesn’t work, people can still here you. Half the time the app never moves beyond the “waiting to connect” screen even though audio starts. Unnecessary to say it is annoying, you should use your app in your conferences, so you’d realize it yourselves... ### 1/5 — Mute is broken now? *2020-01-16, version 2.78.5* Mute is *the* most important feature in conferencing software. The Latest update “revamping” the UI made it virtually useless. Mute function inside the app takes you out of the call for 5 seconds to verbally inform you that you turned off or on mute. Seriously?This cannot be turned off. But far worse, If you are on your phones lock screen, the mute function no longer functions at all. It shows you as always muted (you are not) and you can’t change status unless you unlock the phone and go back into the app. Do the developers even use this junk before releasing it? Anyone that uses this app would never put in such stupid and annoying features that can’t be turned off. Go back to the old version that works please. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2019-10-23, version 2.76.8* Complete garbage. Why my company uses this and or Cisco Webex blows my mind. Update the app; logs you out. Leave the app, locks Webex. Mute function in Webex stops working; can only mute yourself in a hidden button when you pull up the attendees. You have to wait for a 5 seconds audio to mute or to unmuted that makes you lose content and makes you unable to speak. Then, you can’t unmute in the lock screen, causing a long time to be able to reply someone, sometimes they giving up. Not mentioning when you think it’s muted but it’s not. Horrifying. ### 1/5 — Mute/Unmute notification sound *2020-09-03, version 2.82.8* The mute/Unmute notificaron sound is so loud and it mutes the person talking just to notify me I'm mute/Unmute. I ALREADY KNOW THAT, I'm clicking on it!!! It also doesn't allow you to delete old conference account #. Not able to use ‘Mute’ option due to it ### 1/5 — Has anyone at BT ever been in a conf. call? *2020-04-17, version 2.78.5* You're probably downloading this because your company told you to and you have no option. Fine. The way this app deals with "mute" - as mentioned in other reviews, arguably one of the most important features in conference calls - is an absolute disaster. I don't think anyone at BT has ever been in a conference call. That one feature is plagued by multiple bugs and terrible choices. Chiefly amongst them: 1) Whenever you mute, a voice kicks in to say that "YOUR LINE HAS BEEN MUTED", or "YOUR LINE HAS BEEN UNMUTED", and you just lost 5 seconds of what your client or boss just said. Brilliant! 2) Sometimes mute just doesn't work at all. The button is activated, but it isn't really on mute. You think nobody can hear you, but your client or boss just heard your wife say she wants a divorce. Brilliant! 3) Best of all, if your phone is locked and if mute is somehow working, you just can't change mute status. You have to unlock your phone to unmute yourself. Your boss or client just asked a question, and now you're fumbling with your password to unlock your screen, listen to the helpful woman say that "YOUR LINE HAS BEEN UNMUTED", to respond to them. Brilliant! 4) Last but not least, the lock call screen mute button also shows the opposite of what the app is doing. If the app is muted, the lock screen will show it's unmuted, and vice-versa. Just... absolutely... speechlessly... brilliant. ### 1/5 — TURN OFF THE ‘LINE HAS BEEN MUTED’ VOICE INTERRUPTION! *2020-04-16, version 2.78.5* I have stopped using this app because it interrupts my call stating ‘your line has been muted’ when I have to mute the line. This keeps me from hearing several seconds of speech and I often have to ask folks to repeat because of this. This is not a benefit and is a significant pain point. Now there is new feature where when I mute, there is a message as ‘you are now muted’ and while unmute ‘you are now unmuted’. Works well for what we need it to do. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Best audio available *2015-03-21, version 1.36.4* Sound quality is the best that's ever been available between two people. With three or more - which is very easy to do - people are positioned from left to right, so not only is the sound quality great, but you know who is speaking based on where the sound is coming from. Of course, you need a stereo headset on your smartphone, or left and right speakers if you're connecting from your computer. That's another great feature of the service - once you have an account, you can host or join calls from any device with internet. Best comm development in the last 10 years. ### 4/5 — Incoming calls still an issue *2017-07-21, version 1.58.3* Excellent sound quality and ease of use, but please improve the way this app behaves when an incoming phone call interrupts you during a conference call. When this happens, the app doesn't prompt you to dismiss the call; it simply cuts you off from your conference, and sometimes it doesn't let you get back in unless you close the app, reopen and dial in again. ### 3/5 — callkit UI mute button is not working *2020-02-13, version 2.78.5* callkit UI mute button is not working Please fix ### 3/5 — Mostly good *2018-04-25, version 2.64.4* Used to be amazing if your company uses this service; one of the better audio conf apps around with Dolby NR. Somehow, bugs are slipping in more often. Current version has a "mute" button which is really laggy, making it hard to properly silence and re-enter a conversation. But overall service is good if app would just work properly. ### 3/5 — A lot to improve *2018-03-24, version 2.64.2* Using the apps from couple of months now, however it still needs lots of improvement like there are no recent entries for the conference calls I dialed in from the app in the past. Also if you switch between mail app to get the passcode and enter couple of numbers it do not hold that. It erases the number all the time and then you need to make sure you type all the numbers in one entry. ### 3/5 — Incoming calls interrupting BT MeetMe calls *2017-04-18, version 1.56.2* April 18th addition: Mute feature does not seem to be 100% reliable. Switching from Wi-fi to data network seems to unmute. Same thing if headphone is unplugged. Perhaps a bug? -- Sound quality has been amazing compared to previous bridge. Looking forward to the update that will avoid incoming calls interrupting BT MeetMe conferences. ### 2/5 — So many non addressed issues *2020-06-04, version 2.81.4* There are so many issues with this app and it is a pity because none of them are major and could be easily fixed. The major problems are about the mute button, that many have already addressed and the second is that often the app is stuck in the connection screen. It will work, but you won’t be able to change audio settings (go to speakerphone for example) or see the participants. Audio is great but these issues seriously degrade the experience. ### 2/5 — Bad Mute Feature *2020-04-07, version 2.78.5* Current version cuts meeting audio from your end while you mute or unmute your line, replaced by an audible “you line has been muted” message. You miss what people say while the message is being spoken. Mute should be a simple, quick, on/off feature with no delay. This may help people feel better about whether or not their line is truly muted...but the trade off of not having it work instantly (and missing what someone else is saying) is not worth it. ### 2/5 — Mute button does not work *2020-03-18, version 2.78.5* Mute function is the most important feature for the app. And it does not work!!
