Doesn’t save the location either. I select the spot on the map but when I save it uses my current location. Lastly, I could not find a way to get help in the app but they present you a million ways to upgrade to pro. It is not real user friendly it takes a lot to figure out some of the functions. Once I did that, the scale finally connected. Also, the map of where I caught fish is way off! Need to be able to change the color of the preset cull tags to match any other system other tags that are not Bubba Tags. If you able to do it, I haven’t found it yet. You’re getting enough from everyone minus having to buy your tags too. Overall other than those the unit seems nice and not too bad to get accustomed to. Went through two sets of batteries, seems like you have to turn it off every time you use it. It has been locking up why recording fish catches ### 1/5 — Lacks Developer Support *2025-06-30* Painfully clear that the developers know nothing about fishing. That and the app is full of bugs that never get fixed. So either the developers have poor skills and/or management does not provide oversight. A serious bug that constantly shows up is at the end of a trip when you are saving a days effort. Locks the app 90% of the time without saving. Fish catch info is in there but catch totals are usually at 0. None of the environmental data is available like weather conditions ever show up. And it’s not recorded. Competition mode data is not saved anywhere except on the scale. Too easy to have it recorded in the app but it’s not. App has so much more potential. ### 1/5 — Won’t connect to smart scale *2025-06-12, version 4.1* There are three scales. Bubba pro series, Bubba smart fish scale and the new Bubba fish scale lite. I just bought the middle one (Bubba smart scale $99) and it won’t connect to the app. Apparently only the pro and the lite models will work with the app. I kinda feel like I just wasted my money on a scale that won’t work with the app. ### 1/5 — Double fish entries are too easy *2025-05-27, version 4.1* Can’t delete a double fish entry while on a trip.
