This was my favorite game and I’m at the point of giving it up. And I see in the reviews they reply to everyone talking about the same thing and still never do anything about it …… ### 2/5 — Great concept, but impossible progression and poor customer support *2026-07-18* I have been a dedicated player of Bubble Busters for a while now and have reached a high rank, but I am unfortunately at a point where I can no longer recommend it. The game has become incredibly difficult to progress in without spending an excessive amount of money, and even then, the return on investment for rubies is extremely poor. The Buster leveling costs are completely disproportionate to the rewards earned from winning matches. I have frequently reached out to support regarding the unfair matchmaking—where I am consistently paired against players with higher levels despite my rank—and the lack of rewards after wins. Their responses have been dismissive, citing 'system limitations' rather than addressing the core imbalance in the game’s economy. As someone who has invested real money into this game, it is frustrating to see that the developers prioritize expensive microtransactions over a fair and balanced player experience. Unless there is a significant overhaul to the progression system and reward structure, I cannot justify continuing to play or spend. **Developer response:** Hey there! So Im still playing this darn game! New updates to the way the level ups are obtained seems to be a program that is going to take forever to get our busters to beco e stronger. i believe that it has been changed to force purchases from players because the longer it takes for a player to level up their buster the greater the chance of your buster losing a battle. Beware… Like I said in my first review as much as I love this game it has a subtle psychological twist in it that it’s not careful as a player will send you into bankruptcy! When I first started playing this game, I was having a lot of fun. It brought the little kid out in me. I started to get a competitive edge again after years of not being able to play sports which is where my competitive side comes from. I would come and play every night, and sometimes during the day when I was taking a break. Then I opted into buying a little package just because that competitive nature in me wanted to level up one of my busters. BIG MISTAKE! No sooner did I do that, I started to notice little things that weren’t happening before. For instance, I would be competing against someone who had 100 competition points less than I had and one level below me. The first thing I noticed was that my competitors blows to me (mind you less points and levels per the game’s direction means weaker on power) were twice the number of what my blows were to them. Another thing I later noticed was that my competitors generation bar that controls when the buster gets to use their special power was filling up twice as fast as mine even when my blows were conducive to my power and level. So my opposition was able to use its special power many more times than I was able to, Now mind you, this wasn’t just one time in a random game, once it happened in the first game, I started watching like a hawk. It continued to happen over a series of numerous games. If you don’t already know, there are ways to code the game which applies a “if X happens then respond with Z. It is very easy to command play that is pre determined for which side to win. Now I can’t be sure obviously because we can’t communicate directly, but I swear this game is nothing but bot play, and I believe that making a purchase is the trigger within the algorithm that marks your profile and busters lag and compete at a lower power than what you actually have in power points. I signed up through a third party game play app and I was flying through the tasks and earning the completion cash in the third party app pretty fast so I am pretty confident that it’s slowing my power on purpose because as much as I was playing, the payout probably would’ve hit max and I am sure that the developers are really not trying to be that generous. It isn’t any fun for me now, and the only reason I keep it is so I can get the rewards. I don’t like cheaters, and it’s not fair gameplay when there are bots competing. But hey, I’m just the review guru, what do I know—see if the same thing happens in your games! ### 4/5 — This game… *2026-03-24, version 1.20.22* This game is not fair. If you don't buy the upgrades, you level up slower and just match with a bunch of players way above your league. It gets old trying to just play the game I used to have so much fun on. It was a great game until they updated the way in-game rewards are calculated. You still only earn a small amount of coins and crowns when you win games/level up, but the cost of upgrading busters is so much more expensive than how much it was just a few weeks ago. I like the characters and their personalities. If I have a complaint it would be that sometimes the game matches you against someone who is multiple levels higher or lower than your characters are. Personally I still play and have fun. But MANY players will go into the game with the attitude that if it looks like they may lose, they just stop playing. I dislike when that happens. If it only happened in games where my characters were levels above theirs, I could understand. But I’ve had players levels above me who after I get a really good shot in, they just stop. But beware that you will be treated like a beta tester for this app. You will be part way through event, and it might get deleted or replaced, voiding all progress. And they won’t tell you. It did not credit me for reaching might 1000, yet I got credited when I reached 1400. Submitted a ticket and now all of the sudden I can’t get into the game. You either play against people who are way below you or way above you. It also seems like the game already knows who will win the game. I find it hard to believe that one player with CONSTANTLY get all the good power ups and then they turn to bogus garbage power ups or none show until the next person goes. There have been games where no matter what I do, my character power thing never fills but the other person is using theirs 3 times per turn. Back in January I had all of my legendary busters maxed out. I did this by spending literally thousands of dollars. I had the money to do it so I did it. Then they decided to make changes because they were NOT making as much money. They had already introduced new busters. Then they took all of the busters and made them weaker. Now you can level up your busters to level 30. But all that really does is make them as strong as they were before the new changes. They have now also gotten rid of your dollars and replaced them with gems. Play the game and enjoy it if you like it, but don’t spend any money. All they will do is change it again so that you can level up your busters and weaken what you’ve already worked so hard to MAX out.
