Normally you’d get an ad at the very beginning of play and maybe one after 30 or so games. As of today, 5/7/25, there are ads every new game and on top of that, they’re long ads. I’m so disgusted with it that I’ll probably rarely play Bubble Wars again. Sadly, today it suddenly refused to open on my watch. Fingers crossed it gets fixed so I don’t have to start over again. Finally made it back up to level 39 and I’d hate to have to start over! ### 2/5 — Game goes black frequently *2023-07-06, version 14.5* I have emailed customer support two times on 6/21/2023 and 6/27/2024 and had no response. There should be a reply by now that either addresses my particular issue or lets me know my email was received and will be responded to within a specific timeframe. Often when the game attempts to load the next level or the level you are trying to beat, the screen goes black. Closing and reopening the app multiple times does not resolve the issue. I’ve been working on level 103 for almost a year and cannot get past it. I don’t spend a lot of time with it, thinking if I leave it alone for a week or so the program will notice and let me pass through. Nope. Luckily I’ve found other games that are challenging yet not impossible. In December of 2020 I bought an IPad Pro 11 I downloaded Bubble wars and started playing. Todays date is January 6 2022 and reached level 204 with a score of 154,714,482. I cannot attest this to use of the IPAs or just that better at this game. As I have stated I love this game, I’m 69 years old and suffered a stoke in 2014 and this game keeps me sane. Sounds silly but I hate medication and it did not work for me so I decided to work through it myself and found myself in this game to distract me from my anxiety very often. I love this game and I love that I have been playing the same game working up my score for about a year. It always saves, I just close it out and hop back in weeks later and it is right where I left off. Amazing game, 10/10. Thank you “developer” for your response to my updated review below. 7/17/20 - Newest update. Changed my rating from a 5 to 4, but considered a 3. So seems to be the same awesome game that I love and have played for many, many years. However, now the background is now a bright lime green color which I strongly dislike. Besides hating the color, it makes it much more difficult to tell the difference in the orbs, and is no longer dim when I play at night in the dark before going to sleep. I can go into settings and turn “on” the background so it is again black but has a space look rather than plain solid black. Why not at least give choices of solid colors. Personally I’d like the solid black background back. By the way, to check the settings, I had to exit my game and lose the points I accumulated.
