It makes for a fun distraction. It’s the attention to detail that is severely lacking. I started playing this game again and found a way to beat it. I realized that every time you get rid of an entire color, it never appears again. Once you get rid of every color, you win. I did just that in maybe 10 minutes. My review three years ago was very dramatic and harsh. I do not feel the same way anymore. What makes a bubble shooter game special is having something original, and I didn’t see anything original here. I played it when having panic attacks or just having a rough time and needed a mental break. I played it when bored. I played it when I was just really deep in thought or brainstorming something. I still play it all the time and I always will, I think. There are ads on the free version but not long, undisruptive (I think most are muted), and only occur between game rounds (which are maybe 10-15 mins? Or maybe I suck at the game lol) and don’t interrupt gameplay. Then … I began to wonder why I couldn’t improve my score. The reason? The developer has made it impossible to get much past 600. The program manipulates the supply and arrangement of the bubbles to keep the two more lines coming. Additionally, if the software can’t manipulate the bubble arrangements it simply adds two more lines after, say, one miss. I believe that not many people would know they were being cheated. The developer should change the code so that is a genuine game of chance and skill. Each game should allow the player to acheive the score earned.
