The process of saving everything to Bublup was fast and efficient. The images and auto-labeling of the added items will make finding and using them when they are needed for the event a stress-free experience. No other app does this to my knowledge. The only downside is, the app is waaaay overpriced. Really it should cost 1/3 of what I pay. One star demoted due to cost. ### 5/5 — An amazing organizational app *2024-07-31* Hi, I’ve been using Bublup over the past 6+ months and have to say its a total game changer. I recommend it to my secondary teaching colleagues and students alike. What makes it great is being able to readily organize all types of media iincluding web links, documents, notes and video content all in one well organized place. IGiven I teach a broad range of different course areas, I can create specialty pages for each course….the ability to customize the page background also helps identify the content visually at first glance. IThe one issue I’m having with the app is that its so successful that I’ve started to categorize almost every aspect of my school life and well as my home based online business….this incidentally was my primary focus before using it in the classroom. None of them worked for me as well as Bublup. As an artist, the visual boards I can organize however I want seem to help me a lot. Wasn’t thrilled when the free version went away but I liked and used it enough to pay for the subscription and consider it an important part of my creative and small business process. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Was good, awful now *2026-08-31, version 25.4.0* I first started using this app in 2022, it was completely free and didn’t have paywalls for basic things. Since than, updates have made it so you can’t do anything without paying. I wouldn’t download this app, just go use google drive. I keep seeing you guys say “it’s so you can stay ad free” I would rather have a “watch an ad to download” thing than not be able to download my own content at all. ### 1/5 — Absolutely ruined their app *2026-06-14, version 24.7.1* It’s basically unusable now. I understand they wanted to be paid more for the app…so they removed most basic features. But it’s just not even worth it to pay. When you download things, if you do not buy their subscription you will not be able to download your things. I downloaded very important things, now I can’t get them. I have issues opening on my ipad at times. I am a premium subscriber but my drop my subscripption if this isue continues. ### 1/5 — Delete your data without notice *2024-12-10, version 20.2.0* If you gather your data here apparently they feel it is ok to just delete your data without notice. 🤷‍♀️ May want to export and backup your data. They claim they would have sent a notification… I have notification they were moving to a paid app but no notification of my account and data at risk of being deleted. ### 1/5 — Free Use Gone. HIGH Price In. *2024-08-18, version 19.3.0* Way to shoot yourselves in the foot, Bublup. As of December 1, 2023, Bublup is ending free use & accounts and is moving to a PAID-ONLY subscription model. Their STARTING price for basic use is $7.99/month. That’s a jarring, steep price point to be starting at. It seems like a gamble to do so, especially smack in the middle of steep inflation. It’s not just that I can’t afford that price, it’s that I can’t *justify* paying that much for an app. They’re asking $7.99 per month to use what’s been a free app for years. That’s $96+ a year if paid monthly, or a discounted amount (around $70 to $80+) if paid annually upfront. I’ve got no issue with paying for a good app to support devs and get something valuable in return, such as an ad-free experience. But $7.99+ per month is a DEALBREAKER. Had they eased into paid accounts with a less jarring price point, or asked a one-time fee instead of a subscription (or perhaps grandfathered in long time users at a more reasonable price) I WOULD have stayed. Instead, I moved all my stuff to the Raindrop app, which charges $2.99/month for the ad-free version, and deleted my Bublup account. $2.99/ month is a *reasonable* price for what’s offered and I’m happy to pay it to support the devs and be ad-free. I’ve enjoyed the app for a few years as a great visually appealing way to save and organize all kinds of content. I’ll miss it, but not enough to pay that much. Before I found it I used to save everything to my Home Screen, or paste links into Google Docs. Even though I organize things into folders on my Home Screen, I have so much stuff saved that my ADHD brain would get massively stressed opening my phone and seeing all the things I have to review, peruse, or take action on. Bublup to the rescue! I can hide everything within one app. And hiding things barely scratches the surface of what it can do. I see its potential and know that I will be using it to start organizing aspects of my life through it. It was free for way too long. Everyone got spoiled. It’s pure genius.
