This is genuinely one of the worst apps I have ever had the displeasure of using and would prefer malware. I have had to use this app for the past 3 years and it is worse now than it was then, because at least I could access the app. For the past two weeks, no matter which network, hotspot, or mobile data I use, the app says “no internet connection”, so I redownloaded the app and when asked to log in again, it says my account doesn’t exist ???? Remake the app from scratch because trying to organise teams using this awful site is taking years off my life.

Scottish/Irish Surnames can’t be spelt properly as it won’t let you capitalize the letter after the MacX or McX unless you leave a space like Mac X or Mc X which is incorrect. please could you fix this and allow all with wrongly spelt names to fix the problem.

With the new update, when you try and sign up to the universal membership, you get an error message saying you don’t own the universal membership so you can’t sign up for it. Somehow this app has created unbreakable circular logic. Tops it off as the worst app made in App Store history. Can’t even contact someone about it. Not sure what I’ve spent money on if I can’t even go to the gym with my membership. Dreadful.

Navigating it is akin to rowing upstream in a storm: slow, futile, and utterly demoralising. Its sluggish interface and frequent errors seem almost intentional, as though daring you to abandon all hope of finding your fixtures or results. And yet, in stark contrast, the events BUCS organises are genuinely commendable — well-run, competitive, and a true celebration of university sport. It’s a shame that such spirited excellence is shackled to an app so woefully inadequate, it feels like a punishment for daring to participate.

app and website have been unusable for years. navigation is impossible. good luck trying to find your team, league, sport, results etc. UI and UX are awful

Something is always going wrong. I recently signed up for a membership and I went to join a nearby gym, and I got a error saying something went wrong. But a couple of days ago I could at least see the venues that are near me. So I went to the gym to see if I could join there, paid £6 for parking, went to the desk and they said I had to use the app. So that was a wasted trip and a waste of motivation.

It feels like they literally just did not test it before releasing it, in that it generally does not work at all. It also takes far too long to set up and uses too much of your information.

Good app which allows you to access games and teams and has many good features within the app such as squad members. Easy to find leagues and teams and has up to date fixtures and results.

In comparison to BUCScore, BUCS Play is 100 times better. You can find and view the teams/fixtures you want to see quickly rather than spending 10 minutes clicking through to find what you’re looking for. Well played BUCS!
