Буддизм Карма Кагью — это путь мирян и практиков индо-тибетской буддийской традиции. Он ведет к развитию ясности, мудрости и любящей доброты. Три аспекта буддийской практики — знание (недогматическое и открытое для проверки), медитация (как средство успокоения ума и раскрытия его потенциала) и поведение (полный отказ от действий, причиняющих страдания кому бы то ни было) — дают каждому человеку возможность обнаруживать и раскрывать внутреннее богатство ума для блага всех существ.

Ассоциация находится под духовным руководством Его Святейшества Семнадцатого Кармапы Тринле Тхае Дордже. Поучения линии преемственности Карма Кагью передаются Ламой Оле Нидалом.
