## What is Buddhist Lists?

Have you ever struggled to remember all eight folds of The Noble Eight-fold Path? What about The Four Noble Truths or The Seven Factors of Enlightenment?

BUDDHIST LISTS is here to help :)

Best used as an aid to one's meditation and study practice, BUDDHIST LISTS helps buddhist practitioners quickly and conveniently access the essential teachings of the Buddha in the form of easy to remember lists!

It's a "list of lists"!

With BUDDHIST LISTS you can recall just the right Buddhist teaching in a moment's notice, and share screenshots with friends to help them remember too.

BUDDHIST LISTS also features a relaxing auditory experience to meditate to, or chant along with.

While this app will be most immediately useful to the intermediate practitioner of the Theravada tradition of Buddhism, beginners and those practicing other forms of Buddhism can also gain a great deal of benefit from studying and learning these foundational Buddhist teachings.

THIS APP DOES NOT CONTAIN DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL LISTS. IT IS DESIGNED AS A SIMPLE CHEATSHEET FOR REMEMBERING THE LISTS. HOWEVER, EACH LIST PAGE DOES CONTAIN AN APPROPRIATE WEB-SEARCH-LINK SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY LEARN MORE FROM THE INTERNET (Web-search-links requires internet access or a data connection).

### 5/5 — A great reference

*2024-03-26*

I find this app very helpful. I like how it has the English as well as the Pali translation, this can be helpful. It’s basically just all in all a good reference guide to quickly have available to reference.

### 3/5 — Needs to update for ip13 & ip14 screen dpi

*2023-07-05*

The menu controls on the top of the screen are inaccessible due to the notch

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2020-09-06*

I find having the lists in one place is really useful. I often refer to this app to compliment what I’m reading or podcasts that I’m listening to. The background music is a nice touch.

### 3/5 — Great app but isn’t working

*2020-08-18, version 1.2*

I love this app and how simple it is and how great of an overview it is of Buddhism. The only problem is it hasn’t worked in a long time. It is extremely slow and freezes frequently. It needs an update to work on newer iOS. When it’s fixed I’ll change my review to five stars.

**Developer response:** Hello, and thank you for the helpful feedback. I'm sorry the app isn't functioning properly on your phone. I learned to code just to build this it as a free gift for the Buddhist community a few years ago, and now I have to relearn the coding to update it, which I will try to do as soon as I can. I've tried my best to keep it free, which makes it more difficult to find the time to work on. Be well ✌🏼

### 5/5 — Amazing app for a Buddhist

*2020-06-24, version 1.2*

The basic and fundamental buddha teaching!

**Developer response:** 🙏🏼

### 4/5 — Amazing!

*2020-06-23*

Great, haven't seen anything like it. I study buddhism and it is great for quick revision. I didn't give it 5 stars because I wish I could edit some of the definitions myself to how I learned it at school - although my definitions and this apps definitions mean the same thing, the words differ which confuses me a little. But overall amazing app, thank you so much!!

### 4/5 — Unexpectedly Useful

*2020-05-04*

I’m reading Buddhist/psych books, sitting daily and musing on the nature of things, like many people are. These lists are surprisingly (for me) useful in lending structure and clarity to the task in hand. Then to be able to click through to a fuller web-based reference document with a full explanation and discussion of each list is great when time allows. One practical thing: you need to double tap a list title to open it - very un-Apple, very PC. And, once you realise it, practical and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Most excellent

*2020-04-19, version 1.2*

I really wish more informational apps were like this: simple, straightforward, easy to use. Exactly what I needed!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind review, and I'm very happy you are enjoying the app. May you be happy and peaceful :)

### 4/5 — Very Helpful

*2020-04-19*

I was really surprised how many times I use this app. I really really like it. I would have given it 5 stars but sometimes I have to tap on the list I want a bunch of times before it pops up. But that is minor, it works and I am learning.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the feedback and for sharing your experience. I’m sorry about the difficulty you’ve had tapping on the list titles. I hope to have this fixed in the next update.

Also, It makes me very happy to hear that Buddhist Lists is helping you learn the Buddha’s teaching. May all your good efforts take root and flourish. 🙏🏼

### 1/5 — Not optimized for 11 Pro

*2020-02-15, version 1.2*

This app is not optimized at all for iPhone 11 Pro displays. Completely unusable in its current state. UI extends outside of device screen. One star.

**Developer response:** Hi, Nathan. I'm sorry that the app isn't yet optimized for your phone yet. I will try to update it as soon as possible. Thank you for the feedback, and may you find the stability in your Buddhist practice.
