## What is Buddhist Vegetarian Calendar?

The Buddhist Vegetarian Calendar app helps you track the 10 key vegetarian days observed in East Asian Buddhism, as well as important Buddhist holidays. It has a simple and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. Daily reminders help you stay committed to your vegetarian practice. The app is fully free, has no ads, and is completely unintrusive. Enjoy full support in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-21

• Fixed an issue where vegetarian fast days and Buddhist observances could appear on the wrong dates. They are now calculated directly from the Chinese lunar calendar, so they always land on the correct day.
• Minor improvements and fixes.

Added more Buddhist Birthdays that will be displayed with blue numbering. 
Added a toggle for enabling or disabling notifications. 
Lotus flower now longer shows on the widget if it is not a vegetarian day.
Lotus flowers on the main calendar will only display for Fast days.

Fixed a bug where the Zodiac Symbol would not update when traversing the calendar.
