## What is buddybloom?

buddybloom is a body double that's always there and never judges. Pick a hand-drawn buddy — Mochi, Grim, or Pip — and they sit with you while you work, keep you company through every focus session, and cheer you on when you finish.

A BODY DOUBLE IN YOUR POCKET
Body doubling means getting things done with someone beside you. Your buddy works on their own little task next to you, stays quiet while you focus, and checks in at the start and the end: what are we doing, and did you finish it? No camera, no strangers, no pressure.

START SMALL, KEEP GOING
• Five, ten or twenty-five minutes — tiny counts
• A gentle rescue session for the days you can't get started
• Streaks with freezes and repairs, so one bad day never wipes your progress
• Goals you can set, track and celebrate
• Daily check-ins at the time you choose

YOUR BUDDY GUARDS YOUR APPS
Turn on the session lock and your buddy keeps distracting apps closed until you're done. See the hours you've taken back.

ALWAYS NEARBY
Your buddy stays with you on the lock screen with a Live Activity, and talks to you in their own personality — warm, calm, and a little funny.

Made with ADHD brains in mind, and for anyone who works better with company. buddybloom is not a medical product and doesn't diagnose or treat anything.

Meet your focus buddy.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-25

a calmer, kinder buddybloom:

• a quieter home: just you, your buddy and a start button
• focus sounds: rain, ocean waves, and wind & birds
• gentler streaks: 2 freezes, a weekly rest day, and a way to repair a broken streak
• earn petals by focusing and spend them in your buddy's shop
• see who else is focusing right now
• hours reclaimed: the time your buddy kept your distracting apps away
• smarter, quieter reminders

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-04

your buddy learned to lock the door.

- deep focus & no-mercy sessions can now block your other apps until the timer ends (powered by apple's screen time — you approve it once)
- tap "give up" if you dare. your buddy will remember.
- sessions now survive restarts: reopen the app any way you like, you land right back on the timer
- your buddy waits for you on blocked apps and the lock screen

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-03

Fixed a layout issue where the bottom button could be cut off on larger iPhones (like the Pro Max) - everything fits perfectly now.

Plus small polish and stability improvements under the hood.

Thanks for focusing with us.
