## What is Budge?

With Budge, create shopping lists and track your budget as you shop. This app allows you to easily create and manage shopping lists, while also helping you keep to a specified budget as you throw items into the cart at the store. Imagine never walking out of the grocery store with that sick feeling of overspending again!

Key features include:
• Create multiple shopping lists and organize items by category
• Add items to your list and designate quantities, taxability and price
• As you check items off your list they go into a temporary virtual cart where you can see the total cost for that item. Change your mind, if you remove it from your physical cart, you can remove it from your digital cart as well to place the items cost back into your available budget.
• Set your local sales tax rate to have tax included in the calculation.
• See updates in real-time.
• Sync your shopping lists across devices using iCloud
• Simple and intuitive interface designed for quick access while shopping

### 3.2 — 2024-06-20

Coupons are here! You can now add a manufacturer or store coupon to an item. Manufacturer coupons reduce the total item price before any applicable taxes and store coupons reduce the post-tax total.

Other changes:
• Removed the abillity to add multiple items in a row without tapping the new item button for each until a keyboard bug can be solved.

### 3.1 — 2024-06-18

* Added the ability to swipe to delete an item from the list. This does not work in the cart. You must first remove the item from the cart to delete it from your list.
* Added a clear button to the add item text field
* Add a launch screen
* Fixed a bug that was preventing the item detail modal screen from closing after an item was deleted from within the screen using the trash can button in the top leading corner.
* Changed add item behavior to replace the add item button
* Refactor List Detail View

* Added appropriate bottom padding to new item button.

* Changed quantity field from a stepper to a textfield allowing you to enter fractional numbers. This comes in handy for example when purchasing items that are sold by weight.

* Removed delete button from item detail screen when an item is in the cart. You need to remove an item from your cart first and then delete it.
* Moved the button on item detail sheet that adds or removes and item from the cart, so that it is not covered by the keyboard.
* Removed button bar above keyboard when adding or editing an item until a better implementation can be created.
* Fixed an issue with the list detail view that had extra padding at the top of the list and not enough at the bottom.
