Yearly is 39.99 and monthly is 11.99. There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Transactions disappear or duplicate, and most useful features like creating unlimited accounts and categories are locked behind an expensive paywall.
