## What is Budget?

Budget Beacon connects to your Apple Wallet to help you understand and manage your spending.

Set up monthly budget categories like Groceries, Dining, Entertainment, or create your own. The app automatically pulls your transactions from Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Savings, then organizes them into your categories based on merchant type.

See at a glance how much you've spent versus your budget in each category. Progress bars show your spending status, and projections estimate your month-end totals based on your current pace.

View all your transactions in one searchable list. Filter by date, category, or transaction type. Tap any transaction to see details or manually assign it to a different category.

The Track tab shows your top merchants and helps identify recurring subscriptions you might have forgotten about.

Share your budget setup with family or friends via QR code, or import someone else's budget template to get started quickly.

All your financial data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no data collection.

Requires iOS 17.4+ and Apple Wallet transactions.
