### 2/5 — Buggy

*2022-06-03, version 2.4.0*

I really want it to work, but the data from my bank is rarely up to date, or in sync between my devices. I'm always getting notifications that I spend $0 yesterday or that my bank needs to reconnect. I've been trying to make it work for weeks and unfortunately I'm just about to give up, even though I paid for pro.

### 3/5 — Practical, does the job to an extent

*2021-11-01, version 1.41.0*

Helpful tool, would be improved if you could set the month start date as the day paid rather than default to calendar month. Hopefully this will be in a future update.

### 2/5 — Poor Optimization

*2021-06-01, version 1.39.0*

The app consistently logs me out and is unable to track my spendings. Furthermore the loading times to log in are super time and sometimes just don't work.

### 4/5 — Cap One is the problem

*2021-04-22, version 1.39.0*

Love the app, hate that Cap One can’t seem to connect to it properly making enterng transcations the only way I can use it and upgrading to plus would be useless for me.

Hopefully Cap One sorts themselves oit in future because I’d love to be able to use the app

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2021-04-10, version 1.39.0*

Great app!

### 5/5 — f fda dgdt

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2021-03-09, version 1.39.0*

I’ve tried almost every budgeting app out there and this is the first one that actually provides helpful information. Trying to fit every transaction into every a category or envelopes etc is just a shell game. This shows your actual burn down, daily spend left, let’s you ignore things that big one time expenses and alerts you if you have an unusually big charge. App is simple and brilliant.

### 4/5 — Missing one thing

*2021-01-10, version 1.36.0*

Really clean and lightweight, love how it feels to use it. You set the target for how much you want to spend and it tells you if you're on track. Love being able to simply and securely link my card, I constantly forget to input new transactions in other apps.

The only thing missing is being able to see if I spent more money than I made in a month, and how much over/under I am.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2021-01-06, version 1.36.0*

I use it every day

### 5/5 — Pleased

*2020-12-18, version 1.33.0*

I’ve been using this app for over a year and it has really helped us to see our spending habits. We use it for everything except utility and other bills spending, and it allows us to Tracy our consumables well. I was having an issue linking my Target card, but now that I’ve figured out how to manually add those transactions, I don’t care. This works really well and the visual of keeping that spending under the line works! We’re definitely saving more and spending less.

### 4/5 — Pretty great so far

*2020-12-08, version 1.32.0*

I’m looking forward to being able to see my monthly budget and my spending habits a little more clearly. I am paying for the monthly membership so I plan on using this app to track my habits for the time being. The only improvement I would like to see is the ability to add my Apple Card, as I am unable to link the card itself. It would also be cool to have a saving goal tracker in addition to your spending habits.

### 5/5 — So good and easy!

*2020-12-02, version 1.32.0*

It’s simple and powerful. It does exactly what you’d want from a budget app, and keeps you in check. I highly recommend, and so does my wife.

### 3/5 — Great concept but problems syncing data

*2020-09-26, version 1.23.0*

This app would be perfect for me. Simple, at a glance exactly what I need in a monthly budget monitor. Unfortunately I can’t get it to consistently sync my accounts. Inevitably, after a few days I get the “American Express updates are delayed” message and they stop updating.

I can delete and re add them and they work for a while but always seem to break eventually. I had the same thing happen with Chase but Amex seems worse.

I really wanted to use this app, but sadly will probably be deleting it due to this issue.

### 5/5 — Sleek and simple

*2020-09-17, version 1.21.0*

Easy to use and one card free limit works fine for most

### 5/5 — Love it

*2020-09-15, version 1.21.0*

Really helps me keep my budgeting goals!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t let me connect my bank

*2022-09-02, version 2.5.0*

There are two main problems with this app.
First: The app only let’s you sign in with an apple id and i was expecting to have multiple sign up options.
Second: I couldn’t connect my bank account to the app. I’m presuming it’s because of the 2 step verification. In their q&a they suggest to turn off 2fa in your bank account. They need to fix this cause most banks don’t let the owner deactivate the 2 steps verification method. I tried connecting my bank at least 15 times and got an error every time.

### 1/5 — Potential

*2021-03-08, version 1.39.0*

Great simple app. Exactly what I want. That’s why I paid for it. Except it has issues refreshing/syncing and past transactions just disappear. So if you’re looking for an app to help with budgeting and this is missing transactions then this won’t work for you.

### 1/5 — Underwhelming

*2021-02-12, version 1.38.0*

For 2.99 a month I guess I was expecting more. This appears to be a consolidation app more than anything else. You aren’t able to set a budget for specific expenses (ie electricity, groceries, etc). It just consolidates your cards which is convenient but does nothing to actually help you budget money. Not worth the money.

### 1/5 — Something went wrong error

*2020-11-14, version 1.28.0*

App starts to erroring out even on adding of first account on iOS. Something went wrong error on plaid

### 1/5 — Does not work correctly

*2020-08-11, version 1.21.0*

Couple of problems. First of all it doesn't update without unlinking then linking the card back. Tried this for Amex and it's useless. When you link the card it updates but to get it to update again I had to unlink then link it again and sign back in. That's useless. It also doesn't let you arrange the date to coordinate your Amex billing cycle so it's counting days from the last cycle into the new one. Also useless.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2020-07-28, version 1.20.0*

Happy with the concept, but:
Cannot set the start point for the month, and we get paid in the 28th so run 28th to 28th. Also cannot change the budget depending on weeks on that month, some have 4 others have 5, it would make sense to support this as well. Alongside that, it doesn’t support changing budgets brilliantly, let us put an amount for each month in.
And finally a feature request, let us setup burn-downs for different aspects of our budget, for example one for fuel spend, one for general and one for food?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-01-06, version 1.6.0*

Won’t even let me link my card. Is this some kind of scam?

### 1/5 — No Australian banks

*2019-10-18*

Doesn’t support Australian Banks. It also can’t be used as a standalone app as it has to be linked to an online bank.

**Developer response:** Hi cogunn, we now support adding transactions manually for regions in which linking cards is not yet available. Please give it a try and let us know what you think!

### 1/5 — Good idea, but unusable for my bank

*2019-10-17, version 1.3.0*

The app seems like a great idea, but it doesn’t support my bank (Huntington), so I can’t really use it. That’s unfortunate because I really thought it would be helpful.

### 2/5 — i want to love this app

*2024-07-15, version 2.13.0*

i keep getting errors / it won’t let me edit the amount or not include monthly transactions and I even paid for the pro version

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — At Long Last

*2023-05-19, version 2.12.0*

I’ve been searching for an app like this for a long time. Most budget apps create unrealistic expectations and expect life to comply. When life doesn’t comply with a hyper-detailed budget, it can be so stressful. Thank you so much for creating an app with a simple budget/spending tracker, transaction sync, smooth UI, and a widget.

### 5/5 — Cleanest Budget Breakdown App

*2022-07-19, version 2.4.0*

The UI is super clean. Gets the job done!

### 5/5 — 👌🏻

*2022-05-26, version 2.4.0*

This app has helped me so much.

### 5/5 — Best budget app out there

*2022-05-26, version 2.3.0*

This is by far the best budget app.
If I can only add one thing it would be a category total counting, so I can see in what I’m spending too much

### 5/5 — clean and effective

*2022-04-07, version 1.42.0*

Overall I like it. Has the function I need, easy to track on my monthly spending. keep up the good work team!

### 5/5 — Incredibly useful

*2022-03-19, version 1.42.0*

Such a simple concept and yet I use it more than the complicated budgeting apps. It’s something that can keep you on budget in only a few seconds a day.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2022-01-21, version 1.42.0*

Very simple and easy to use, quit getting bogged down with complex budgeting apps and use this instead!

### 5/5 — The only app I pay attention to

*2022-01-20, version 1.42.0*

This app was a godsend for me when trying to figure out on a day to day basis whether I was above or below my budget. Now it’s the only thing I have to keep an eye on to stack on track. 10/10

### 5/5 — Best one

*2021-12-07, version 1.42.0*

Best app

### 5/5 — Beat budgeting app there is

*2021-06-12, version 1.39.0*

I’ve tried them all and this is definitely the best and simplest app for setting and staying on budget. Give it a month at least and use the widgets!
