If you want to you can setup categories and budget limits etc and easily export your info via a CSV file to your favourite spreadsheet. Once you start using it the process becomes second nature. I have used this for at least three years now and documented every cent I spend and earn. Honestly, it is the best way to keep track of and monitor money. The graphs and spending limit features are so helpful and I can honestly say this has put a lot of order into my life. Could not speak more highly of this app if you paid me to write it! I've tried a few budgeting apps and this one definitely takes the cake.
