A good update by the developers with a few modifications could make it even better. I really like being able track expenses, see my monthly expenses and how I’ve broken everything else down into categories. The only thing I’d like (for 5*) is the ability to see YTD totals and the total spent in each category for a year. Be nice to just see the total spent in each area over a year. ### 4/5 — Love it but... *2018-02-01, version 1.8* Something is happening where it is now saying I have a months warning even though I have it set as semi-monthly. This is giving me a false idea of how much money is remaining for the next two weeks. This problem is just new. Just downloaded the update today and noticed purchases don't register when it's added through the widget though. ### 4/5 — Great app! *2016-09-11* I've had this app for years and it works great! It has really helped me to track my spending and set financial goals for myself. ### 3/5 — I've had his app for 1.5 years. It's ok *2016-09-10* I use this app while living financially under the principals of Dave Ramsey. It's pretty good for the purpose but doesn't roll over the unused money in the categories, you have to do it manually. Also it's never updated. Lastly it's stopped syncing both my wife and I use it for that purpose if this issue isn't corrected we will move to another app. ### 4/5 — Great app but every month the same thing... *2016-08-01, version 1.8* Love this app. It has really assisted out family in keeping an eye on our finances. Only complaint is every month it doesn't carry over your budget and you have to crash it like 20 times to get it to carry over. You guys need to fix this. The app is basically useless for collecting and tracking our shared purchases, which is of course the whole point if the app. I have iPhone 6, she has iPhone 5. My goals go into my savings account but from time to time I pull money out and would like to keep track of that Original Review: I've ony had it for couple days but I do like it. Only thing I'd like is more flexibility. We can choose when to start each budget time frame. Also how about we can set it for every 2 weeks instead of a month, at least give the option. ### 2/5 — Still waiting for updates. *2015-01-07, version 1.6.1* This app used to be the best financial and budget app on the App Store. What happened? We haven't seen any updates since the beginning of October and it is starting to fall into decay. There is no iPhone 6 or 6 Plus support right now so the resolution is junk on these new devices. As well, some iOS 8 features like a Notification Center widget would be nice. Please don't let this app fall into neglect. I've used it for many years and it has always been great and up to date - let's keep it that way! Cheers ### 3/5 — Review post OS 8 upgrade *2014-10-09, version 1.6.1* This is a comment on the app-support post iOS8 upgrade, it is very poor. I put in a report of the SSL certification issue and nothing for over 2 weeks, no email or reply that it was being worked on. So I have gone back to a more manual; but in my case more useful budget tracker, a good old-fashioned spreadsheet! If you find ‘back in black” useful, enjoy it. I thought we (my wife and I) would find it a more accurate and useful budgeting app, originally; but have found we didn’t consistently use it, found it was less than accurate and with the poor response on the application iOS8 SSL compatibility issue, we have ditched it all together. ### 5/5 — I absolutely LOVE this app! *2014-10-08, version 1.6.1* Thank you for the last update! It fixed all the problems I was having with backing up! This app has been a part of my daily life for the last 3 years, and has not only helped balance my finances but save me money! It erases it right away. I went to the App Support page which is just a message board--no email address or anything-- and I posted about my issue. I have received no help so this app is rendered useless unfortunately for me. If you want to you can setup categories and budget limits etc and easily export your info via a CSV file to your favourite spreadsheet. Once you start using it the process becomes second nature. Great app ### 5/5 — Perfect Budgeting App *2018-01-14, version 1.8* This is definitely my favourite and most useful app I own. I have used this for at least three years now and documented every cent I spend and earn. Honestly, it is the best way to keep track of and monitor money. The graphs and spending limit features are so helpful and I can honestly say this has put a lot of order into my life. Could not speak more highly of this app if you paid me to write it! I've tried a few budgeting apps and this one definitely takes the cake. It had a few teething problems when I first started using it but they have obviously been sorted because it runs so smoothly now. ### 5/5 — Love It! *2017-12-25, version 1.8* I have been using this app for years-it is fantastic. It has really helped me financially -easy to use. Simple- 1. Net monthly money coming in 2. Fixed monthly expenses 3.
