## What is BudgetBox Envelopes?

BudgetBox is a simple envelope-style budget tracker for people who want a calm, manual way to organize monthly spending.

Create budget boxes for categories like groceries, transport, rent, or eating out. Set planned amounts, log entries by hand, and see planned, spent, and remaining totals for the current month.

Features:

- Month Board with box-by-box planned, spent, and remaining totals
- Manual entries for expenses, income, refunds, and adjustments
- Starter templates with editable example amounts
- Monthly review with descriptive category totals
- Optional weekly or monthly check-in reminder

BudgetBox is for organization and personal recordkeeping. It does not connect to accounts, does not use third-party analytics, and does not send budget entries to a SoftSplit server.
