## What is BudgetCal?

BudgetCal is designed to help you track what you eat every day in the cheapest and simplest way possible.

Mainstream calorie tracking tools work great for labeled foods: Convenience store items, packaged foods, frozen meals — they can scan barcodes and have comprehensive databases. If you mostly eat these types of foods, those apps might suit you better.
