## What is Budgether?

Budgether is a monthly budget for the people you live with. Everyone adds their own spending, so when your partner adds the grocery run, it shows up on your phone too, with their name next to it.

Start with your income and a few categories. A short guided setup then helps you add this month's pay, limits, bills and a savings goal, and you can skip any step. Home shows how much is left this month and what that works out to per day. There are eleven tiles, from quick add to a savings goal, and you can reorder or hide any of them.

Add each recurring bill once, like rent or the internet. Budgether reminds you before it's due (you pick how many days) and again on the day. It estimates each bill from your last three payments, or uses a fixed amount if you set one, and flags a bill that comes in well above that. Anything overdue or due in the next three days is pinned under Needs attention at the top of Home, along with any category that has gone over its limit.

Widgets show what's left and the bills coming up on your Home Screen, on the Lock Screen and in StandBy. On a bill's due day, a Live Activity sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with a button to mark it paid. You can also ask Siri how much is left, add an expense from Control Center or the Action button, and find your budgets in Spotlight.

Sharing is part of Premium. The person who creates the household pays, and up to five people they invite join free with a six-character code or a QR code. You decide what each person can do. A partner can be a co-owner, a teenager can add only their own spending, and a grandparent can just look. You can also see who has the app open right now and how much each person has spent this month.

Each budget has its own currency. Budgether is in 14 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Arabic.

Pick a color theme for the whole app and try each one on first. Six are free; Premium adds twelve more, each with something small drifting behind your numbers, like the falling petals in Sakura, and lets you make your own from two colors. Your own themes stay on your iPhone. Everyone you budget with picks their own. With Simpler animations or Reduce Motion on, the backgrounds hold still. Premium also lets you use a photo for your profile and for each budget, and swap the app icon for one of five other styles.

There's no Budgether account to make. Your budgets are kept in iCloud, so you need to be signed in to it, and a shared budget lives in its owner's iCloud. I don't run any servers, and there are no ads, analytics or tracking.

One budget of your own is free, and so is joining any budget someone shares with you. Budgether Premium adds one shared household for up to six people, as many personal budgets as you like, the 12 animated themes, your own themes and photos, and the 5 extra app icons.
• Premium Monthly: $3.99 per month
• Premium Yearly: $24.99 per year
• Premium Lifetime: $59.99, paid once

New subscribers get a one-week free trial of the monthly or yearly plan. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends, or when you buy if there's no trial. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your currency.

If the owner's Premium ends, the shared household is paused for everyone in it until Premium is renewed. Nothing is deleted while it's paused, and it comes back just as you left it.

If something isn't working, shake your iPhone to send a report. It leaves out names, amounts and notes unless you choose to include them.
